  1. Not arguing, only pointing out that some people can mistakenly call what is the flu only a bad cold. Not everyone goes to the doctor for a cold or even a bad cold
  2. Keep in mind, some who have the flu deny it, believing they only have a "bad cold." How often you heard the term "bad cold" from someone?
  3. They did modify the policy a few hours later, but I guess the reasoning is to prevent or slow the spread of it
  4. IMO, wait a week or so, let all the cancellations come in and the phones to slow up, get a rep on the phone....bet you can work a deal
  5. If you think about it, each cruise ship likely has some level of a "standing order" pending for every cruise. For example, say a 7-day cruise, and let's say departing every Sunday, it more likely than not that that ship has pretty much the same order delivered every Sunday. Cruise lines always try to go out full, and the purveyors of beef, fish, produce, fruit, cheese, soda, beer, booze, etc., have to have an idea of what the order is they have to fill, so it is likely all contracted and price negotiated in advance, why the idea of cancellations seem far-fetched. And if home port is say Miami, all the suppliers are Miami based.
  6. Corporately, several of the majors are US based, only the ships are registered overseas
