  1. Excellent to read thatšŸ„°šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘. Weā€™re so excited, but just a bit apprehensive with all these covid rules. How was the weather along the journey? It hard trying to work out how much hot weather and cool weather clothing to take!
  2. I totally agree it is work in progress and things may well be different by the beginning of October. I guess that as our next leg Hawaii to Sydney is 18nts they might let us stay on board and recuperateā€¦šŸ˜¬
  3. That is what I am hoping for should either of us test positive mid cruise as it will be a nightmare for us to be stuck in Hawaii, when we are due to end our cruise in Sydney with onward plans, reservations and flights before returning home weeks later via Singapore šŸ‘
  4. Hi, weā€™re sailing Vancouver to Honolulu to Sydney B2B. Reading various sources including Celebrity FAQā€™s it seems we need a covid test done free by Celebrity to start the new 2nd leg cruise in Hawaii USA; and there is an intimation that is b2B cruisers will no be able to get off the ship on turnover day once we have been issued with new seapass cards. If youā€™ve recently done a b2B in USA or Canada what was your experience? Also, what happens if your covid test performed on board is positive- are you booted off? Thanks!!
  5. Thanks for your review- Iā€™m sorry it was such a dreadful embarkation day for you. I recall myself sitting in the corridor of another Celebrity ship on embarkation day because the aircon in the cabin just wasnā€™t working properly and it was stifling. As you say, persistence is key, and like you, an engineer did eventually come by and remove the panels and fix it. It does make you wonder how the previous occupants of that cabin survived? Or do they just put up with it! I havenā€™t cruised with Celebrity for a few years now, so I hope they still have sone sparkle and excitement to offer when I get on board next month. Alaska is stunning- glad you had such an amazing trip. Your photos are fabulous
  6. Thanks for your review! We will be on Eclipse next month heading to Honolulu & Sydney. Do you have a daily planner that you can share with me? Iā€™m trying to get a feel for what times trivia will be as we have a lot of sea days. Were there any offers on board for the speciality dining? I recall years ago that waiters would try selling the dining around the ship and that if they had a lot of availability they sometimes offered a discount. I was lucky enough to go on one of the Eclipse inaugural cruises when she first launchedā€¦ a few years go now! She was very modern then!!
  7. If you have the dining package that gives you 40% off bottles of wine, does that include bottles of wine bought in Vintages or just the speciality dining rooms? can you buy bottles with this discount to take to other dining rooms or your cabin?
