I'm happy to say that Mr. Lawrence Leston is still giving excellent tours of Antigua! We recently spent a half-day touring with him on a small-group tour. There was only one other couple with us, who happened to be from the same ship. We took the tour to Shirley Heights and Nelson's Dockyard, with many other lovely sights along the way. We booked this tour in advance via email, and no pre-payment was required. All emails were answered promptly, and he gave us excellent directions to meet up with him. Even though our ship changed its docking berth at the last minute, he adjusted his location and was right there waiting for us. If you want a friendly, knowledgeable guide who is an excellent driver, you will like Lawrence of Antigua.
We just did his tour today and did spend an hour or so at the beach afterwards. It was the same price and was a private tour for 4. One of his drivers took us and Lawrence caught up with us at the end to make sure we had a great tour. I highly recommend.

You definitely can order to the room. I had a bit of a learning curve when I ordered the first time. At that time, you could order on the TV. Somehow I ordered 5 coffees!

One of my recent cruise had it and one did not. However, they had a different type of chicken salad every day at the buffet

For me, it's the chicken salad at the IC!

Not super stress free so far! Had severe weather this morning with our tornado sirens blaring. Kids' buses had to stop so they could shelter in place until the weather authorities cleared travel again. They are all safe now, but it definitely added drama to the day!
Are you in East Tennessee? We are near Nashville and the wind has been wicked

So many factors to consider. How many ships in port that day. Saturday in FLL can be crazy. We were hard pressed one time to make 1:00 flight. It took forever to check luggage and get through security
Our last cruise was late getting into port. We had weather issues and didn't even start getting off ship till almost 10
I would not want to herd that many cats!

High praise indeed! 😉
We have recently discovered Long Beach as an alternative to LAX for cruises out of San Pedro. Do you recall how much the Uber cost? Enjoy your cruise! May softer pillows be in your future.
We like Long Beach too! So much easier. We use Lyft and it was around 42.00 .

Following we will be on the Regal in March.
We will too! Doing this itinerary in reverse.

Probably schedule. May be more than one ship on port.

Just curious and so others may know, how did they accommodate 6 people for UBD at once? A huge Balcony? In a Suite? Side by side cabins with balcony dividers open?
We were in E731 on the Caribbean Princess. It is the extended balcony on a mini suite.

We’re on Sky in 3 weeks. I’m tempted by the dinner but wonder how well UBD can suit dietary requirements? Dad has a shellfish allergy so I’m thinking it’s not worthwhile for him?
They will accommodate any needs. I set this up for 6 people and one had an allergy to shellfish and alcohol. They subbed in chicken for her ( does not eat beek) and a mocktail. They generally will call the stateroom and ask if there are dietary needs.

What is really crazy is that I have to do the right click thing when I log in. However, If I log in on the same computer using my sister's username and password, it works fine. Makes no sense;.

Go to the website and log in to your sailing. There is a tab to print luggage tags

The Volcano dessert is no longer an option although they will create a replacement such as a banana split, etc.
I just ordered one on my cruise last month.

Enjoying the live report. The first few seasons of the Good Fight is good. The last 2 seasons are bizarre.
Hoping luggage appears!
Totally agree. We gave up half way through the last season

It seems like Maui is having problems staffing excursions. I had one marked to buy for upcountry and it disappeared. I looked at one of the stops and they are now closed on the day we are there. I did have another one cancelled too. Princess is also depending on the tour operators to give them notice. I am packing my patience

https://www.cruisehive.com/carnival-cruise-line-adds-dining-charges-and-makes-changes/86374
Charges in MDR and increases in Specialty venues
The charge in the main dining room is for the third entree that one orders. I certainly understand that. All land based restaurants have raised prices. Food cost is astronomical. It is not a big surprise

Here lies the problem. You need to pick up the tickets an hour before the start of the 20 minute movie. The launch leaves shortly after the movie ends. It’s another 20 minutes out to the memorial. You stay on the memorial (20 minutes) until the next launch arrives. Factor in wait times….that’s at least a window of 2 hours and 20 minutes.
Will the tour take you to the USS Missouri? To the Pacific Aviation Museum?
Do not cancel the excursion until you have arranged for your own tickets and transportation,
Thank you for your input.

If the tour leaves at 7:30, I wonder what time would be good to get tickets for?
Can I see my muster station well in advance?

Our last cruise showed Alfredo's but when we boarded, it was actually the dining room
