I'm trying to figure out the safest place to eat since it seems like many passengers think the dining room may be where they contacted Covid.  Too bad we can't have the dining room food delivered to our cabins.

You could book a table for two. I realize they are still sort of close together,  but it would somewhat limit contact.

Update: Tried the live chat again this morning, as soon as it became available. Connected with someone immediately, and she was able to cancel the excursion with no problem. Was then able to book the new excursion.

More weirdness occured afterwards as we tried to book the same excursion for my parents. It kept saying to call her agent to book a flight. Aside from already having flights booked, what does that have to do with booking an excursion? Lol. She wasn't comfortable using the chat, so got on the phone. Took some patience, but she finally got an agent who could help her, and now we are all booked on the excursion in question.

Now if DMW would become available in the app, we'd be set.

So glad it all worked out. I haven't had to use chat feature yet. Nice to know.

Our Panama trip on the Ruby just died and the replacement is on the Emerald which does not show many suites available. Will see what our PVP will do about our Vista suite

We are on the Ruby Panama canal as well as the next cruise to Hawaii.  Guess we will have to rethink this b2b. Looks like the Ruby is going to spend a winter season in Galveston.

I'm in the same boat - you'd think they'd make it easier to use a gift card. If you have the card applied as OBC can you use it to book excursions in advance? They won't take a gift card number there but I can't tell if you can use OBC as I have none. Or are you stuck using the card after boarding no matter what?

You cannot book excursions in advance on the website but you can call Princess and they will do it for you. However,  it currently is a crapshoot how long you have to wait to get through

Hi, wanted to ask if anybody knows if Princess still offers transfers from Vancouver to SeaTac and if so, what is the price per person?  Thinking of booking an southbound Alaska cruise and rather fly out of Seattle than Vancouver.  If not mistaken, there used to be transfers but when I asked Princess they couldn't answer this without a booking number.

We are taking the transfer from Seatac to Vancouver and it is 79.00. We booked it through our TA. You  should  be able to book them on board as well for return.

We are booked on the Royal in May.  We are suppose to stop in Victoria, BC and dock in Vancouver.  No excursions are listed for Victoria and final payment is due this week.

Is it possible that Princess is planning to skip Canada totally and go on to Seattle, WA?

    Thoughts?

    Bill

We are on the Royal may 2nd 12 day cruise.  We have excursions booked for Victoria.  May be a glitch .

My flights were gone early yesterday afternoon.   My Ta is on vacation in Germany but she sent a note saying they will do their best to book us in similar cabins so i will trust her and keep my fingers crossed.   Still not happy about the itinerary change.

    Sandy

My TA is also in Germany. Think they are on to Greece right now.😊 Our February cruise redeployment from the Crown to Emerald went smoothly and same cabin booked. I realize that this will be different as the 2 ships not identical.  I didn't have flights booked for my Feb cruise so I dont know how that will work out.

Just glad it's not cancelled.  Just a bump in the road.

If you have a FCC available to be used by Dec 31, 2022, can you use it on a cruise that starts in 2022 and ends in 2023(eg a new years eve cruise)?

The wording is a bit ambiguous - "FCCs can be used on any sailing made by and sailed by December 31, 2022".   I am not an english major, but I could read it that you just need to start the sailing by December 31, or it has to have completely sailed by December 31.

    Thoughts?

The word and indicates to me that it is both booked and sailed. Otherwise,  I think it would be an "or". That's how I read it.

I am old enough to remember when if one wanted to travel to Europe, he or she had to first make a trip to their Family Physician to get the necessary immunizations.

Have we become spoiled and complacent.

I'm old enough to remember lining us up at school for the polio vaccine!

Booked May 2, 2022 on Sapphire Princess. 12 days round trip out of Vancouver. Cruise includes Icy Strait Point and Sitka which are ports we have never visited. Keeping our fingers crossed that Canada gets the vaccine rolling. It surprises me they are lagging so badly in that endeavor. I certainly hope the folks we know in Canada can get vaccinated sooner rather than later.

    We booked this too!
