    Deck 5 aft cabins on the Zuiderdam are fully covered and deeper than the other decks. IMO, great choice (we have been in these twice on the Z.).

    Good thought. Not much lost if they say no at boarding. We usually bring a bottle of ginger ale onboard in case of rough seas.

    Exactly why I booked this year's Alaska cruise out of Seattle rather than Vancouver.
