Love….LOVE the waterfront. Forgot to take pics of the food, but at in La Cuccina. Last time I ate there it was, at best. “Meh”. They have really stepped up their game. I did get pics of the menu…. Very, very good!!!!

Doesn’t feel as crowded given it’s at capacity. Elevators are quick. Entertainment venues probably a good idea to get to them early (30+ minutes) otherwise you’ll be SRO. Concierges make all my dinner plans for me. So, probably not fair for me to comment on reservations at the Specialty restaurants. but, overall you’d never think there are nearly 4,000 people on board. Even the Garden Cafe is very well run! planning folks and crew keep things moving well.

Hi Dave…so happy to hear from you. Yeah…that cruise in 2018 was great. I’m so fortunate to have met so many wonderful people while cruising. Took my GF to the Mediterranean in the Yacht Club (Divina?) before the shut down. Beautiful ship. Loved the Yacht Club, but still prefer the Haven in NCL. Wishing you a (pre) HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I’m sure you’ll enjoy yourself. Let us know how that goes! This cruise is actually my birthday (June) present to myself.

I think so. I know other bars around the ship do not have the smoke maker, nor the perfectly shaped and totally clear ice maker. I know the bartenders make their own I don’t think you can find those ingredients posted in the pic anywhere else, either! it takes awhile to make each one on top of that. Couldn’t imagine the pool bar getting an order for 5 of those. It would take forever to make in quantity!

Both are coming up tomorrow night and Friday night, respectively. Looking forward to both! Definitely need a bigger venue. But, we were 5 feet from the performance! Would put some of the original performers of the songs to shame!

BTW….the prime rib was excellent! For some unknown reason, Dusan stops to check on me whenever I’m in the Haven! He must think I look lost and needy (which some days, is true). 🙂

And…we’re in the Dominican Republic…

Went to the Sunset Bar after the show to take in the warm breeze. Ended up, where else, Haven Bar for more concoctions….

Can not emphasize enough how good the band is in Syd Norman’s….music in my wheelhouse…FM tunes from my youth….get there early…like 45 minutes early!
