Do they have super shuttle from Lax to San Pedro cruise port?
-
We are flying into LAX on a Friday and cruising out on Sunday from the cruise port (San Pedro) and looking for a nice area hotel in Santa Monica. We would like to be close to everything around the pier area and maybe some tours from that area also. Any recommends on hotels in that area would be appreciated.....

omg! i said JFK when i meant to say LAX....sorry about that. anyways, i changed my flight to later in the day, so i'll be fine. thanks

We are returning to port on a Sunday morning and was wondering if this would give us enough time to get to JFK for a 12:27 p.m. flight home?

I understand that we don’t need a visa if we don’t get off the ship. Thank you

If we are not going to get off the ship in Cuba, what do we do about the affidavit? I don’t see any boxes to check for that.....just leave it blank?

i'm using Super Shuttle both times ( hotel and cruise port) but not sure on what address to use for the port. i'll just use "Manhattan cruise terminal" for my pick up .

We have never been to NYC and will be cruising Norwegian Gem on June 2. We are looking for a hotel that would be around the city but not too far from the port area. We are arriving 3 days before our cruise and looking for recommendations on where to stay.

we are cruising ( NCL) out of nyc in june and wondering if they have a de-embarkation shuttle service back to JFK standing by?

We have never had to fly to cruise ports ( living in Florida) , but have decided to cruise the Pacific coast . There will be no issues flying in but the return flight time might be and wondering when debarkation from San Pedro, what would be a safe time to schedule an early flight home, say before noon? Being that we have to be at the air port 2 hours prior to flying,i'm assuming , the later , the better?

we changed our plans of staying in san pedro for 1 1/2....now only the day before our cruise,so it looks like san pedro.

We live in Los Angeles and there's not a lot of walking to places from hotels other than in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica. Other areas to consider are Marina Del Rey and Redondo Beach. And then of course there's Downtown LA. Check out hotels for all theres areas on TripAdvisor. Don't know about your budget but it will take some work to find a moderately priced hotel in and around the LA area. You might want to consider renting a car or using Uber or Lyft. Things are pretty spread out around here. I use a San Pedro hotel only if you were flying in to LAX, staying 1 night before your cruise and going from the hotel to the ship the next morning. Hope you find what you're looking for.
what hotel did you stay at in san pedro? i was looking into the sunrise hotel for 1 night.....
-
i'm so use to cruising out of florida, knowing where most everything is and the areas to stay away from and going into a new area that we don't know anything about, could be a disaster of a trip.....i've heard little about santa monica and san pedro area. what would be another area (close to the ports) that would be entertaining and safe.... hotels and restaurants mainly?
-
mainly tours of the areas that we are close to and walking to restaurants also . we are flying in 1 1/2 days early and then staying 1 day after before our flight. i was thinking of the sunrise hotel (so far).......

spending a couple of days before and after our cruise. staying in and around san pedro and wondering how that area is, as far as sight seeing and safety/security?
