we always have AI but for a caribbean cuise we are looking at in January we will go cruise only as its a 7 night and we will get 450$ obc
PS For dining options if only a late seating is left is it set in stone that you have to get that late time?

Loving all the replies.......

Just checking some pricing and when you add the "all inclusive" it really hikes the price. Now having said that we have always gone all inclusive but as Elite wondering is it worth it knowing we can get unlimited drinks I believe between 5-7?
cheers

Ten celebrity cruises with two booked all in sv cabins.....tells you something however each to their own.
We enjoyed our first experience carried on to our second then just carried on from there. We like quiet and find there is very little footfall around the sv cabins.

I hope you have ‘Status’ as 4 tender ports are 4 too many in my opinion.😱Hilo is docked....Kailua and Lahaina are tendered..........

We grabbed an SV for New Zealand too on Edge. Would have picked another line if we couldn’t get an SV.
sounds like a great one.........

Our dilema is since we have not yet been on an E class ship we are unsure about the Infinite Verandas. We do have one booked for our upcoming Feb cruise on the Edge so won't know until then whether we like the IV or not. From what I've read on CC people either love them or hate them. Does anyone know if a Sunset Veranda is a good idea for a Hawaii cruise. Decisions decisions!!
we only book SV's.....

Baltic....I live in the UK and most days it is baltic lol...for us we would pick a warmer cruise

Thanks for posting! We had a cruise to Hawaii cancelled in April 2020 and has been a bucket list cruise for us. I had my eye on the Solstice for April 2024...didn't even see the Edge Sep 2024 cruise. Our plan was to book onboard our next cruise. Perhaps this cruise will be more popular and we shouldn't wait to book?? Was really hoping Black Friday sale would offer reduced deposit but didn't happen. We will be sailing the Edge for the first time in Feb.
I suppose it depends what type of cabin you want as to whether you book or wait. We always book early as we like specific cabins although we too will be on the Edge for the first time October 23 from Rome to Dubai. For the Hawaii September cruise we booked I thought it might have been more expensive that it was considering the OBC and its on the Edge which seems to be more pricey than other ships.

We’ve done that one twice on solstice. Great cruise. Enjoy!
thanks...we have always wanted to go to Hawaii and having never been to Vancouver or California [nearest I suppose was Vegas]....it gives us a chance to see a few places in one hit

Where are you thinking? We went to Japan a few years ago (land trip, not a cruise). However, Japan would probably adapt well for a cruise, most of the major cities are close to a coast.
We have a trip to southeast Asia booked later this month. We are traveling to Thailand on our own and then joining a river cruise to cruise from Cambodia to Vietnam.
I'm not sure what the state of Japan's covid policies are now. Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam are all back to normal operations.
I liked the look of this one but they tell me the Bangkok port is at least 2 hrs away..

Being the original poster its been fascinating reading the comments. A real mix of peoples personal opinions. I thank you for this.
From our side we will cruise next year again and I cant wait but my wife is a kind of take it or leave it. She always says "are you not fed up with the same old same old". I know what she means with the daily routines and evenings of meal, casino, show, casino.....but waking up on a different port is something special. Personally moving forward I am trying to select cruises in places which is new to us e.g. next year we will be on the Rome to Dubai cruise as we have not yet been to places like Jordan or Dubai.

I just wonder with a lot of negative reviews. In fact we had dinner with friends who were on the Reflection cruise in September and when discussing it they merely mentioned it was okay, food not great, ship needs an upgrade.........nothing really enthusiastic. And by the way one of them tested positive for covid after getting off the ship.
Personally we will continue to cruise but I just wonder how others feel.

so the casino closed on the last sea day [of 5 sea days] or the last sea day being Honolulu? Is this normal?
-
Patiently waiting for the new releases.
For anyone who has done these cruises which one do I book? Vancouver To Hawaii or California to Florida [Panama Canal] ?
Much appreciated
