That makes sense. the deli seems like it would be better inside.
Did he hint where alchemy bar will be?
Not that I saw, sorry.

Ahhhh I'm so excited to see this! I haven't read a word yet, just happy to see another review from you. :D. I really enjoyed your past reviews!

According to John Heald the pizza will move to the back where the deli was and the deli will be moving to where the burrito bar was so the burrito will be no loner. Which makes sense since it is redundant with the Blue Iguana Cantina.

This actually makes me consider purchasing it for the first time.

My favorite Carnival desert is their Key Lime Pie, usually offered on the second day at lunch. I really wish they would offer it on the American Table or Dinner buffet!
I love the key lime pie as well, It's one of the only good desserts served at the lido buffet, along with the cookies!

Seems like the pride will hopefully be different next month for the journey cruise
Or either I've been unlucky the 2x on splendor and 1x legend where with the old menus. The buffet seemed to mirror the MDR.
The new American menu just look bland. Herb chicken as an item every night along with flat iron steak as an option every night will get old on a 14 Day I assume. Only menus never repeated a main entrees 2 nights in a row besides a few side dishes as I recall.
Guys burger before 6pm!!! Before they close haha
There was always steak and along with fried chicken and salmon or mahi mahi offered every night on the old menus. Now they also offer a pork chop every day on top of those other every day offerings, as well as the port of call selections and all of the other regular entrees that change from day to day. I really don't understand why people complain so much about the new menus. There is plenty to choose from, it's just split up into different categories.

If an extra entree is $20, the tip is $15. Pure deduction, my dear Golfadj.
But you only get the entree when ordering the steakhouse options in the MDR.. You don't get the DELICIOUS appetizers offered in the steakhouse or the desserts. (which to me are even better than the entrees)

Carnival docks in Kahului not Lahaina. The only tender on our cruise was Kona (which we missed)
Honestly, most of the ports where the ship docks in Hawaii are pretty industrial. There isn't really much nice scenery until you get out of the port area.

OK...just off Pride yesterday and it seems I have to "eat" my words. The soft serve was actually good on this cruise. I was shocked. It was creamy and not at all icy. It had a good taste as well. Go figure!
I totally agree! I just got off the Liberty (which was the ship I tried the ice cream on the first time when I didn't care for it) and it was much better than before. Maybe they changed providers.
-
I don't really care for the ice cream either. I agree that it is more "icy" than "creamy". When I do have some, I always take from the frozen yogurt machine. It's definitely more creamy than the regular ice ream.

I love the huevos rancheros. The pastry basket is also hard to resist. Yum! So good, yet so bad! Can't go wrong with Eggs Benedict either.
The Hey Porkchop looks delicious, but I just don't really want a pork chop for breakfast, :o and I don't really want that big of a lunch, so I haven't tried it.

I don't recall seeing it on our Hawaii cruise either.

We stayed in 6269. It was a balcony above the shops, right near the stairs. It was a great cabin! This time we will be in 8387 and 89 I believe. They are right below the buffet seating area. We didn't have much choice booking only 3 weeks in advance and needing two 3 berth rooms beside each other. Hopefully it will be okay!

We are staying at the Country Inn & Suites in Cape Canaveral pre-cruise. I was wondering if any of you can tell me if there if there is anywhere walkable that we can pick up drinks to take on the ship. Wine too if possible. :)

If she has the court papers, that's all she needs to show (if they ask)

I have not had my luggage ruined on a cruise (yet). I used to use soft sided luggage and it seemed like every time I traveled I would get one back with something ripped or broken. We bit the bullet 2 years ago and bought some not-so-cheap hard sided luggage and I would never go back to soft luggage. I LOVE my new luggage and I have not had even one minor issue yet. It's been on 3 cruises, as well as land vacations to Vegas, NYC and San Fransisco. It was money well spent! Hopefully it will continue to make it through baggage handlers in one piece!

It is going to be a complete surprise for my mom. We're not going to tell her anything....hehe.
Really? I thought your Mom didn't like cruising. Hope she doesn't knock another one of your Dad's teeth out when she finds out. lol

No more breakfast in the dining room on sea days. Now there is a brunch on sea days in the MDR. I am one that did not like this change since we eat an early breakfast and brunch did not start until 8:30am. Had to eat breakfast at the buffet. We did eat in the MDR for lunch (brunch) and it was good.
.
On the Hawaii cruise they alternate on sea days between the brunch and the breakfast/lunch MDR menus. At least they did on ours. It was nice to switch it up a bit from day to day.

I did put a Roll Call sign on my door on our Hawaii Cruise. Other than that, no, I've never really considered it. It doesn't bother me if others do though.

When I want to walk from one end to the other, I either go to deck 5 or deck 9 (on Conquest Class). Some people make a big deal about it, but it's really not that difficult.

Bring a court order showing that the GrandParents have Full Custody of the children. What matter is who has legal Custody, not who the parents are. Parents aren't always the LEGAL caregivers.
If the Grandparents do not have legal custody they should try to get that legally changed if the Mother is AWOL. Contact a lawyer.

When we did this cruise in January our return flight was at 1:30. I thought we would be fine and I was told at guest services that it would not be a problem when I inquired about our zone tag numbers, which I was concerned about. (I think they were 17). We did not get into port late and as far as I could tell everything was normal. Well we literally checked in at the airport with 2 minutes to spare. Debarkation in Long Beach was an absolute nightmare. Lucky for you, you are platinum so that should help matters, but even the first 5 zones took over an hour to disembark. I think those weren't finished until about 10:30. I'm assuming there were A LOT of platinum and diamond cruisers.. It took FOREVER. So, while you would probably make it, I wouldn't take the chance again.

I absolutely LOVE your Mom's Mickey room! I want one! :D
You did a great job on your FE project. I don't buy a lot of souvenir junk, but I do like to buy fridge magnets from different places we visit. That is something I could actually use!
Looking forward to reading more.

You're right, those petite fours do look terrible.
