Key Lime pie on the lido first day, Bitter and Blanc and Cappuccino Pie.

I've never had a long wait for Guys Burgers (there are lines but they go very fast) or the Sea Day Brunch. There are no lines for the PG comedy shows, only the Adult shows. Pizza Pirate can have very long slow lines, especially late at night.

You can buy Apple Cider Vinegar capsules. Why don't you use those while on vacation.

I have seen some long tables like that along the side of the dining room on the Miracle, so I would assume the Pride would be the same.

I have never stayed at a Disney property and always been able to get my fast passes well in advance -- I was able to get fast passes a couple weeks ago for early fall as I have company coming that wants to go to Disney. Glad I got them before things changed.
Seems strange they would eliminate the ability to use the Disney App to reserve fast passes in advance but I am sure someone in some office somewhere figured out a good reason to change this. Thanks flip flop lady for letting us know.
You've booked fastpasses already for the fall? I've never heard of anyone being able to book fastpasses more than 60 days out. We are staying on property in August before our cruise and our fastpass window opens next month. It's been like this for years. 60 days for resort guests and 30 days for non-resort guests.
I would go to Animal Kingdom. So much to see and the emphasis is mostly on the animals, less on the rides.Animal Kingdom will quite literally be a ZOO over the next year with Pandora opening today. It will be very crowded with people wanting to check out the new area.
To answer the OP's question, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Disney, but I don't think it would be worth it to do it the way you have planned. You would only get a small taste of what WDW has to offer. I would suggest taking a separate trip with your grandchild and spending 4 days minimum to really experience it.

If they had all sizes then my mother could get one. The largest size of any shirt that I have seen for sale onboard is a 3X. It was one of the port of call shirts.
Yeah, they definitely don't have all shirts in all sizes.

I've been seeing these new women's sweaters they have on the ships with the name of the ship across the back shoulders/sleeves that are really cute. Does anyone here (who knows what I'm talking about), happen to know what kind of sizes they come in and how they fit? I don't want to get my hopes up in buying one only to find out they only come in small or junior sizes.

No one special they had 2 and,I can't remember their name as they just didn't stand out.
Plus the room is so small you have to get tickets 40 mins in advance to see the show

Wait, you have to get tickets for the comedy club now? Where do you get tickets?

There were two little girls on our cruise to Hawaii in Jan 2014. That's it. They were the darlings of the family comedy shows.

IIRC, Royal Caribbean stops serving drinks and food a half hour before muster. Isn't Carnival like that?
Yes Carnival does that too.

According to the schedule there's some overlapping. The first column gives an until date. But just about every ship the second person starts prior to the the until date of the first person. Does that mean that there will be 2 cruise directors on the overlapping dates?

We were on the Dream during an overlapping week once. The cruise director who was on his last week was the cruise director and the new CD just arriving was kind of in the background observing. I guess they get a week to kind of get to know the ship and their future co-workers before taking over.

No problem :) It's a little confusing because I have both of our names in the signature line and with the military rate...it's understandable. We both served, which makes it nice on Princess. Double military OBC! :D
Thanks for the defense, and it's OK. I'm looking forward to trying some new lines.
I have to say I am very impressed with the composure you were able to keep with all of the ridiculous accusations from people on here who jumped to conclusions and clearly did not comprehend what you were trying to say. I understood from the first post - you never once mentioned booking early saver or anything non refundable. I would have lost it long ago. :')
Anyway, I hope you enjoy your cruise on Celebrity. It's too bad Carnival has left a bad taste in your mouth and I don't blame you at all for bailing.

If you are in an area where Carnival Gift cards are available you could buy those and then apply them to Cheers once you have enough saved up.

We were below the buffet on the Liberty on our last cruise. It wasn't bad. Every once in a while you could hear carts rolling by, but that was the only thing I really noticed. I guess it depends on where exactly you are below the buffet. We were fairly close to the aft elevators so probably not quite as much action near the back of the buffet area.

I think it would be better to print in grey rather than blue. They colour means which deck you are on, so if you it comes up as blue they could get put in a wrong pile and end up taking longer than they should to get to your room.

Mine was $82 plus tax for the middle plan

The Social on an 8 day cruise was $35 for me.Perfect, thank you so much!

I've been a few times. Once to swap keys, once to put a limit on the kid's spending and once to ask for earlier departure luggage tags. I try not to make it a habit of hanging out there.
-
Can anyone tell me what the full cruise costs for an 8 day cruise are?
-
I can do this by giving the check-in desk whatever amount of funds I choose as I check in,
And I can toss the $100 bill in the desk drawer as I save up. I don't have to worry about it either.
As I said, it is easily possible to do every one of these things without buying cruise cash for your self.
And some people prefer to buy cruise cash. It doesn't make it wrong. What's works for you doesn't necessarily work for someone else.

I have seen them run out of Chocolate Milk and Ships on a Stick.

Unless Magic is different from every other ship I've been on, the couch doesn't pull out. They take the back cushions off and make the base into a bed. The other bed will drop down from the ceiling. You will have the same amount of floor space you would without the beds being made up.

If you get the social package you can message using Facebook Messenger or What's App. I'm not sure if iMessage works, I've read that it does and I've read that it doesn't.

Total crap shoot. In fact, more often than not, the ship is FACING the island so both sides get a similar view of water/island or even facing another ship. Even if the ship is docked parallel to the island, it could go straight in or it could back in. It really doesn't matter which side you're on.
-
I doubt they will blatantly let you do that, but no one will notice ordering a drink and bringing it to one of your friends sitting on a lounger away from the bar.
Where are the longest waits and crowds? How to avoid them?

I've never seen a full PG show. For some reason people only want to see dirty comedians. :') We like to go to the PG shows with the kids before dinner and we have pre dinner cocktails (virgin for the kids of course!). It makes them feel very grown up. :)
