  1. We did a btb rt Sydney that traveled the coast heading north & west to Perth. and 2nd part was down under a few stops and then on to New Zealand, up the east coast & back to Sydney. ( you can see dates & company at the bottom )

Which is better ? There are not " apples to apples " completely different ",, but, did enjoy NZ more, IF you can do both countries, that would be my choice. If time & $ calls the shots, I would do New Zealand.

  2. In March we did a btb on the Infinity (29 days ) & I can honestly say no complaints about the food in either the MDR or buffett.

The MDR service was uneven, some nights it was very slow, but always enjoyed our dinners.

Just remember, this ain't the Ritz.

  3. We flew Virgin Australia from Sydney to LAX & had a wonderful flight. We booked preminum economy & the seats were great, we are both 6'4". You can connect with via Ottawa or Vancouver or fly to LAX on any carrier

  4. Canada has no sanctions for its residents on travel to Cuba. Is this an educational cruise? If not, it is still not legal for a US citizen.

It is legal. I am sure the cruise comoany has figured out a way to handel this, otherwise it wouldn't be available to the USA market[/b]

Americans cannot fly in. You must have been there before 1963 when the travel ban was instituted.

Not true. Brother & sis-n-law flew into havana from Tampa just this past March. What can and can't be done is changing rapidly[

  5. the Celestyal Crystal departs on two separate 7-day voyages that commence and end in Montego Bay, Jamaica with a port of call in Santiago de Cuba this December. It flies the flag of Greece, but then, Princess flies the flag of Bermuda and Carnival flies the flag of Panama. Just sayin'.....

We are US citizens & we are booked on this ships Cuba cruise for 1/1/16

American citizens can only go to Cuba under certain specified conditions. Visiting on a cruise ship is not one of them.

    Not true.

My brother & sis-n-law did an educational land tour of Cuba this past March. They loved it. They could not use any US money, they had to convert the US $ into special toursit money.

We are going thru Cuba Cruise & I think they are based out of Canada because the prices were posted in Cadanain dollars.

  6. Have I got a tip for you. Try Amber Tours India. We did two weeks with tem all over India and they did a GREAT job. Basically tell them what you want to do and they'll do a custom tour for you. Their prices were extremely reasonable, comparable to what we were quoted for one of the big bus packages. It'll be private. Their drivers and guides will go out of their way to accommodate you. Ours would saw we were interested in photographing people and would pull over every time he saw a colorful character.

Google them and email them with what you want to do. I think we dealt with Shanti.

Hi, looking to do what you guys did, but the quotes are crazy. If you don't mind, i would like to ask you more questions about this trip.
