Thank you so much for posting the longer version! We were on this same itinerary on Equinox exactly one year ago and it was so much fun to relive it via your video. We even had the same tour guide in Pompeii--did he sing for you, too? The bicycle tour in Athens looked like something we would have enjoyed, if I'd have know about it I definitely would have booked it!

Thank you for posting! Since you will be in Falmouth in Dec. and I won't be there until Jan., will you post again if you decide to take the culinary tour? I'd love to hear all about it so I can decide if it will be worthwhile. :D

I signed up for their newsletter but have not received anything from them. If/when I hear anything from them I will post on this thread. I hope you will do the same. We will be there on Jan. 30, 2014, how about you?

Wonderful review and pictures! Thanks so much, you're killing me...we did this cruise exactly one year ago on Equinox...wish I was back on board this year. Keep up the good work!

I'm doing lots of research for a variety of tours and my interest was piqued when I came across this culinary tour. It has only one review on tripadvisor so I'm curious how long they've been in business, if they are reputable and any other info I can find. Does anybody have any experience with them? The website is jamaicaculinarytours.com

Love, love loved your travelog! Thank you so much for taking the time and effort! Your pictures are spectacular and your commentary/observations have been entertaining and informative. Because of your great posts, I will be taking this cruise in the next year or two. Since you're from Kansa, you will understand when I say..."it all depends on the harvest". Have a safe trip home and I hope to read more of your travel adventures in the future.

This is a wonderful thread, thank you so much for all of the terrific pictures and commentary! I, too am definitely going to plan this same cruise for next year, not something I had even thought of until now. :) I love seafood, so I am drooling at the thought of getting it so fresh and delicious!

Thanks SailorJack, your reviews are always a kick! Can't wait to see your pictures!!

Thank you so much for posting these! We won't be going until next Jan. but I appreciate this information b/c I doubt that it will change very much and we will be traveling w/friends who have never cruised before. This will help us get them ready for a great trip! :D

Please forgive me for asking this question, I really don't want to read all 960 posts to find the answer. We have the classics package on the 123 Go promo and some of us want to upgrade to premium. In the past, it has been fine to do that once you board the ship. From what I'm gathering by reading this last page of posts, it might be more of an advantage to upgrade now? I am wondering if there is a discounted price to do the upgrade right away, rather than wait until we board the ship in Jan. 2014?

Like Lois, I also joined some other ladies from the roll call and went to high tea in Murano on Eclipse. It was very nice, and we had bottomless Champagne, lovely finger sandwiches, a string quartet playing for us and white glove service. To me, it was worth it, but I am not sure I'll do it again--been there, done that. :D

When are you sailing? If it is before 6/22/13 can you please post a report in the cabin sticky.:) I will make sure to when I return, I will also take a lot of photos.
We don't sail til Jan. 2014 :( so I will be looking forward to your post and pictures!

Thanks, Wednesday! I think I will be happy with the cabins I've booked. At least for now, I'm staying put!

Hi Carol, There is no daily limit on how many drinks you can order with the Classics drink package on the 123 go promo. There is a limit on the $value/drink, but it its still quite liberal and includes many beer, wine and cocktail choices. You can look at the Celebrity website and find the Classic drink package info about the variety of drinks included in the package. As for what the best bang for the buck is--well that's subjective, but in a word, the drinks package is a great deal, if you like to have alcoholic as well as sodas, bottled water, etc. If you're perfectly happy with regular coffee, tea, water, etc., then the OBC is a great option, or even the gratuities. It's a matter of personal preference, but at any rate, it's a very good promotion!

To the OP__Thank you so much for this excellent, comprehenseve review!! It is truely a magnificent work on your part. You must be a type A personality!! :D

Wednesday, I have booked 2105-9 (Silhouette) for our next cruise w/friends who have never cruised before. I want them to have the BEST experience but now I'm a little worried about the large overhang. I've read the info on the spreadsheet, so from that perspective I'm fine, but can you tell me what it will mean to have the large overhang--other than the privacy you mentioned? Will we get any sun at all? I like sun. Will it feel like a cocoon? Any infor you can give will be much appreciated :D Thanks!!

Thank you for continuing your excellent trip review. I love your pictures and your personal insights. We will be on this itinerary beginning Nov. 5 and are so looking forward to it. I don't think we'll have to deal with large crowds and heat, as you did in June, but we will be aware of the rug factories.;)

Loving your review, and especially your pictures. You have a beautiful family and your pictures are "off the beaten path". Thank you for posting and keep up the good work!! We will be on Equinox in exactly 1 month and the excitement is building enormously!

Loving your travel journal, keep it coming!:D

Actually that photo was taken on day one (San Juan, PR).
I did manage to get a pic of him in his aft cabin on day eight (Bayonne, NJ)
Mr Julius, your are really very clever and have made me laugh all day long on a Monday! Thanks for your great pics! I hope we hear from you again soon!:D

Love, love, love all the videos, your children and the music that accompanies the videos! You are keeping so many people entertained as we await our next cruise!! Thank you sooo much!!
-
The children steal the show for sure!
I second this statement! Who doesn't love a British accent, especially from children?! Takes me back to Mary Poppins and those adorable children. You Brits have such well-mannered children and yours are especially fun to get acquainted with through your postings!;)

I am really enjoying your reviews and videos/pictures. Can't wait to see more! We were on our first ever cruise in Jan. on Eclipse and can't wait to go again. We wish we could go on Eclipse again b/c we LOVED Qsine, but we will be sailing Equinox b/c of the itinerary.
Enjoy every minute of your cruise, and thanks for sharing it with all of us who are wishing we were there, too.

After much debate, DH and I have just about decided to purchase the premium package for our upcoming cruise on Eclipse. I do have one other question, though, and I apologize if it's dumb. I know you can bring aboard two bottles of wine; if we just want to enjoy these in the cabin, do we still have to pay a $25 corkage fee?
Thanks,
Pam
I've been wondering the same thing, so I'm glad you asked. Now, is it two bottles of wine per cabin or per person?

Outback, thank you for taking the time to post the review and pictures. I'm trying to decide what to do in Jan. when we visit GC on our cruise. Your review is helping me decide.
