  1. Thank you so much for posting the longer version! We were on this same itinerary on Equinox exactly one year ago and it was so much fun to relive it via your video. We even had the same tour guide in Pompeii--did he sing for you, too? The bicycle tour in Athens looked like something we would have enjoyed, if I'd have know about it I definitely would have booked it!

  2. Thank you for posting! Since you will be in Falmouth in Dec. and I won't be there until Jan., will you post again if you decide to take the culinary tour? I'd love to hear all about it so I can decide if it will be worthwhile. :D

  3. I signed up for their newsletter but have not received anything from them. If/when I hear anything from them I will post on this thread. I hope you will do the same. We will be there on Jan. 30, 2014, how about you?

  4. I'm doing lots of research for a variety of tours and my interest was piqued when I came across this culinary tour. It has only one review on tripadvisor so I'm curious how long they've been in business, if they are reputable and any other info I can find. Does anybody have any experience with them? The website is jamaicaculinarytours.com

  5. Love, love loved your travelog! Thank you so much for taking the time and effort! Your pictures are spectacular and your commentary/observations have been entertaining and informative. Because of your great posts, I will be taking this cruise in the next year or two. Since you're from Kansa, you will understand when I say..."it all depends on the harvest". Have a safe trip home and I hope to read more of your travel adventures in the future.

  6. Please forgive me for asking this question, I really don't want to read all 960 posts to find the answer. We have the classics package on the 123 Go promo and some of us want to upgrade to premium. In the past, it has been fine to do that once you board the ship. From what I'm gathering by reading this last page of posts, it might be more of an advantage to upgrade now? I am wondering if there is a discounted price to do the upgrade right away, rather than wait until we board the ship in Jan. 2014?

  7. Like Lois, I also joined some other ladies from the roll call and went to high tea in Murano on Eclipse. It was very nice, and we had bottomless Champagne, lovely finger sandwiches, a string quartet playing for us and white glove service. To me, it was worth it, but I am not sure I'll do it again--been there, done that. :D

  8. Hi Carol, There is no daily limit on how many drinks you can order with the Classics drink package on the 123 go promo. There is a limit on the $value/drink, but it its still quite liberal and includes many beer, wine and cocktail choices. You can look at the Celebrity website and find the Classic drink package info about the variety of drinks included in the package. As for what the best bang for the buck is--well that's subjective, but in a word, the drinks package is a great deal, if you like to have alcoholic as well as sodas, bottled water, etc. If you're perfectly happy with regular coffee, tea, water, etc., then the OBC is a great option, or even the gratuities. It's a matter of personal preference, but at any rate, it's a very good promotion!

  9. Wednesday, I have booked 2105-9 (Silhouette) for our next cruise w/friends who have never cruised before. I want them to have the BEST experience but now I'm a little worried about the large overhang. I've read the info on the spreadsheet, so from that perspective I'm fine, but can you tell me what it will mean to have the large overhang--other than the privacy you mentioned? Will we get any sun at all? I like sun. Will it feel like a cocoon? Any infor you can give will be much appreciated :D Thanks!!

  10. I am really enjoying your reviews and videos/pictures. Can't wait to see more! We were on our first ever cruise in Jan. on Eclipse and can't wait to go again. We wish we could go on Eclipse again b/c we LOVED Qsine, but we will be sailing Equinox b/c of the itinerary.

Enjoy every minute of your cruise, and thanks for sharing it with all of us who are wishing we were there, too.

  11. After much debate, DH and I have just about decided to purchase the premium package for our upcoming cruise on Eclipse. I do have one other question, though, and I apologize if it's dumb. I know you can bring aboard two bottles of wine; if we just want to enjoy these in the cabin, do we still have to pay a $25 corkage fee?

    Thanks,

    Pam

I've been wondering the same thing, so I'm glad you asked. Now, is it two bottles of wine per cabin or per person?
