  1. i will be doing Empress of the Seas on April 19-24 and will be getting on Enchantment of the seas right after April 24-28 out of port of Miami. My question is will they be on the same terminal? How would I got about moving my luggage and stuff. I called RCCL they seem confused and didn't give me much info. Has anyone done this that can share some light !!!

    Thanks

The Empress should be the 1st ship at dock and the EOTS will be 2nd. Just a short walk between them. Be the last off the Empress and the 1st on the EOTS. You will pack like the end of any cruise and unpack again. We have done it and a lot of fun. We will be boarding the Empress the day you debark. Stormy

  2. After seeing these photos, much of the ship looks pretty plain and boring.

    Especially for a Carnival ship.

The atrium looks like an office building.

Main dining room looks like an old Bonanza Steakhouse.

Some of the other places look like Applebee's.

The Havana area is nice, but you have to pay for all that.......

Totally agree. Over 30 CCL cruises and no hurry for this one. Cyber bully has no business telling anyone to go away. Sorry Mike, had to vent.

  3. Have a great time on the next one. This got me so psyched for our upcoming cruise and to also NOT go to Cagneys.

Don't give up on Cagneys to quickly. The 3 0f us went the same nite and had a great experience. My only complaint was the $8.00 shrimp cocktail only had 3 shrimp and not that large. We all had the $2.00 sides and shared the mushrooms and Cagney fries with a 5 oz filet. Couldn't finish my baked potato. We were full and the bill was only $75 for 3. Added a $20 tip. Would go back. Better deal then when it was $35pp.

  4. You can get almost any drink at any bar...even if it's not on a menu! Just ask! NO "extra" tip needed....it's what they do!

Yes the BT will a lot of the time. But always feel like we're putting them in a compromising position if the bar mgr should find out. Maybe not, the mgr may tell him to do it. Who knows.
