Given the current environment, and one likely to continue for some time, I'm hoping they deliver, or at least have to go packaging available.

That sounds very likely to happen.  They do have the to-go with Bonsai Sushi express on some of the ships.  But it was great to dine in at Bonsai Sushi on the Vista.  Great food, service and atmosphere.  We ate there three times on our cruise last December 😀

  2. I contacted my PVP to cancel our January 2021 cruise on the Glory due to possible health concerns with this virus.  It wasn't past final payment date, but it was paid in full under an Early Saver booking.  I found a December 2021 cruise and my PVP transferred everything over to the new cruise.  No penalty.  My original deposit was transferred over to the new cruise as well.

  3. I always booked on my own.  I requested a PVP after the last batch of cancellations.  My new PVP helped me cancel the Glory for January 2021 due to the current situation.  It was an early saver deposit, and the cruise was paid in full.  With his assist I re-booked a December 2021 cruise.  He transferred everything over, including pre-paid grats, FTTF and our Cheers package.  I also did not forfeit any of my Early Saver deposit and have a small additional OBC because the new cruise was about $80 less expensive.  So the Dec. 2021 cruise is paid in full, with FTTF and Cheers.  Happy camper here.

I find MSC more upscale (your fellow passengers)

🤷‍♀️ Can't speak for MSC, but we've had some really enjoyable cruises on Holland.  The food was great, and I love how they actually serve you in the buffet.  They also serve the salad bar.  There are multiple individual small plates, pre-prepped (cheese plates, sushi, etc.) available so there is no cross contamination.  What I didn't love was nothing going on after 9 pm.  Maybe the piano bar or BB King's Blues club.  What I also didn't love was having several basic conversations will fellow cruisers on Holland that when I mentioned cruising Carnival....it was always "Oh, the Wal Mart of cruise lines..."  Wasted conversations.  It's too bad they are missing out on the fun.  I hadn't sailed Carnival since 2014.  I came back in 2018 with an awesome cruise on the Freedom.  I am so glad I came back.  I have several Carnival cruises booked over the next two years, and have re-booked five so far that have been canceled due to this mess.

I’m on that one as well 🤞. And I’m bringing CC with me. Replaced my canceled Breeze cruise that became a Radiance people on the Breeze cruise.

I replaced my canceled April 2020 Freedom with the Vista Feb 2021 = +600 OBC.  Who knew we would still be wondering if we would be sailing almost a year later.  Alchemy time.  Let's go!  LOTS of finger crossing here.....

This is why we book our own cruises through the Carnival website. No hassle and no potential PVP and/or TA drama.

I've booked all of my prior cruises on my own through the website.  Given my last FIVE cruise cancellations due to covid and dancing of the ships, and after the Carnival executive resolutions department contacted me....I requested and now have a fantastic PVP.  He's saved me a lot of stress on cancellations/re-bookings.

We have an October 2020 cruise which was just cancelled and when I go to transfer my funds to a future cruise I have booked it's starting they are unable to locate my original cruise. I confirmed on my carnival manager the booking number, date etc. but it's still not allowing me. Forget trying to call their telephone lines are down.

    Anyone else having issues.

Two+ weeks ago my two sailings on the Radiance were cancelled.  I could not get the form to work, and received the exact same message.  Seriously, I contacted Carnival via direct message through (The Carnival Cruise Line Book of faces) They responded in about 28 hours that they would forward my information and have it addressed.  Within two days, I received a call on my cell from "Miami".  Answer the phone.  It really is Carnival.  And the representative was with the Executive Resolutions department.  Great service, and she got me assigned to a PVP.  He then contacted my via email a few days later.  Now I need to contact him for my October 31 cancellation.  If that doesn't work....I have a phone number.....

  8. My October 31 has been cancelled.

    Dear Carnival Cruise Line Guest:

The members of the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) have agreed to extend the voluntary pause in cruise operations in the U.S. until October 31, 2020. If conditions in the U.S. change and short, modified sailings are possible, the industry may consider an earlier restart, but at this time, we must cancel your upcoming cruise, and for that we apologize for disrupting your vacation plans. We greatly appreciate your patience as we work through these unprecedented decisions.
