I'm sure the cell phones do not work when out to sea but I was wondering if they do work when u are in port. I am going to Bahamas (Grand Stirrup Cay and by the Atlantis) :)

Thank you for posting this I am new to this so this was helpful to me. I am a little confused as to the charge - Are u charged the fee when you board. When we went on Carnival we each were allowed to bring a bottle of wine and would have been charged $$ ONLY if they had to open it for us. I brought my own corkscrew - so no charge. Does it work the same on Norwegian?

I noticed someone said they had a cabana - how do you go about getting one? Do u reserve them ahead of time or when u get there and how much are they?

Was wondering if anyone knows if Grand Stirrup Cay has rafts to float around on in the water or if I should bring my own? In all the pics I have seen - I do not see anyone in the water on one. Are they allowed?

We brought our own on Bermuda Cruise and it was great we just left them there when we were done.

They you all for your reply's all have been very helpful in my decision - Will do it on my own and will look up the packages Majestic tours have to offer.

Whatever you do - do NOT miss the caves they are fabulous! There are 2 different ones both breathtaking. Yes you can take pictures. - so have your camera ready cause there is nothing like it. There is not much to do at Kings Wharf you can probably see it all in 2 - 3 hours. The beach nearby is nice. We brought our own blow up rafts which was great and left them there. We also went to horseshoe bay it was a cloudy day so the beach was empty - got some fabulous pics there. Have a Great time! You will love Bermuda!

Just booked Gem in April 2015. Can't Wait!!! Was wondering if anyone had done the excursion to Atlantis and if we should book it also or if we should go there on our own. I like to plan ahead - way ahead...lol

if u get seasick start taking ginger pills 2 days prior to your cruise and everyday thereafter - works great!
