Peetee

We are taking Aranui 5. Half freight and half cruise ship. 12 days . stops at all the smaller islands dropping off supplies. . Only 200 passengers. and has all the normal amenities. Most excursions are included. Our cruise begins 9/23 begining and ending in Papeete on 10/4.

We just completed the trans pacific From Sydney to SF last month. We were on the Grand and it was only about 3/4 full. We prefer the smaller ships. The Grand works for us. We had cabin A734 which is steps away from the door the leads to the Terrace Pool. Loved it have booked again for next year. The wheelhouse bar has good music and many people liked to dance there. We enjoyed watching. Don't care for Piazza.

My husband brings a small extension cord and he can reach plug outlets near the phone., We do have to switch sides though.

We were in A734 last month. The balcony is smaller than some but the location is hard to beat. A few steps and you are at a door to the Terrace pool. another short flight and you are at the Terrace bar and access to the Buffet. We have booked that cabin again for next year. Our cruise was South Pacific. Don't know how much use you'd get of pool in Alaska but in warmer climates it is perfect.
