I still have my 21” tv that I bought on Putnam Ave in Ridgewood in 1994.It still plays better than my 27” Smart Tv’s .I never had a desire for a large screen tv.

When I was in college I had a part time job one year selling encyclopedias door to door.Part of my written presentation was to tell the prospective customer that the encyclopedia would be something that people would use for reference forever.I kept mine from 1952 to 2002 .Nobody that I know still has theirs.

I read my autograph albums often and look through my HS yearbook.I have been to several HS reunions.My yearbook as I assume yours is was black and white.I had red hair .Now my hair is white .

The scripts back in the 60’s were either hand written or by typewriter.Slightly different these days😀

I never bought one in Junior High.I have my HS yearbook a few feet from where I am right now. Earlier today a friend who I have known since HS called me .Whenever we speak we always discuss school days and how things have changed .My HS friends are all over the US.Only 2 of the 30 I am in touch with still live in NY.

I was at an outdoor concert in Brooklyn about 10 years ago.He was a guest and told the audience that he lived within walking distance of the venue.

Occasionally I am in doctors offices where in the waiting room they play tv stations that show old shows.I often wonder why I liked those shows because they are so bad.

Raining here as well .New forecast is for rain all day today and tomorrow but clear on Sunday .Winds gusting to 40 mph for Sunday.

Cousin Brucie is 84 and I believe still lives in Brooklyn.I loved my transistor radio too. I remember my Funk & Wagnalls Encyclopedia .I saved a lot of things from my childhood.I went to an Elementary School reunion in 2006 and everyone who attended were given copies of the yearbook from our graduating class.For some reason nobody bought them when in school. I have my Elementary and Junior HS autograph albums .Kids today have no idea what that was.

You might try sending the picture to a Zoological society in Fla or perhaps the Zoology Dept of a local college.Just a thought.

I only rooted for the Yankees when my childhood friend Frank Tepedino was on the team. I was a Dodgers fan from 1953 to 1962 .I became a Mets fan in 1964 but I still also root for the Dodgers except when they play the Mets.

I lived in Brooklyn till 2003.Dumont was channel 5 and WNET was channel 13.WOR was probably the one that I could not remember.

I do not watch that much TV.I listen to music and post on CC .

My son in law ,the huge Rangers fan was at the Rangers game tonight with my grand daughters.He is a HUGE fan with one of the rooms in their house painted in Rangers colors.He works with the son of a former Rangers great player and he has pictures of himself with some of the great players of the past 25 years. I am a huge Mets fan .

I remember 6 :CBS,NBC,ABC,WPIX,WNET ,Dumont and one other . We were very happy.We also had something called a radio.

TV watching should be free just as it was from the 1940’s to the early 80’s.

When I was able to drink I loved Margaritas .One night after work on a May 5th.I went with co-workers to a restaurant.We started off at the bar drinking this festive drink.I was told that I never made it to the meal and crawled out the restaurant.Ode to be young again.

So far no negative reaction .It’s been 4 hours.Re twins :I have 2 sets of twin great nephews.All four are graduating high school next month and heading off to different colleges

I posted this before.I was a juror on a trial.We found the defendant guilty.It was a criminal trial.The next day I returned to work and was coming up subway stairs when a guy was walking down.It was the guy we convicted. He should not have been on bail ,in my opinion.As soon as I arrived at my office I called the court and found out that the guy was able to be on bail because his mother was a Judge’s secretary.

I never got excused even though many of my friends were police officers and 2 were judges.

I served on jury duty in the old days when there was no such thing as calling to see if you had to report.I loved being on juries but I was also a workaholic and that was always a conflict.I met a lot of interesting people who were jurors.

We went to Bar Harbor and Halifax by car in 1976 and by ship in 2013,two of my favorite places.

When I was working at my longtime job lunch on Cinco de Mayo was at Villa Pancho a great Manhattan restaurant.I miss those days.

We usually celebrate Mother’s Day at the house of my daughter who lives nearby but the past two years we celebrated Mother’s Day,Fathers Day and my birthday on my deck. I was outside an hour ago to take the second Covid booster.It was 70 degrees.It felt so good to be in warm weather.

Gas here is $4.17.The last time I drove it was $1.59,not that I remembered,I looked it up.
