I have had 4 distinctly different careers in my lifetime.I was able to choose which one and have described all 4 on cruises but never more than one per cruise.

I took an Elective in Latin American History in my Senior year of college. On the first day the Professor let everyone in the class know that he would be teaching the class from his political point of view.He explained that he was giving anyone who wished the opportunity to drop the course without penalty if they so desired.Three students did so.

I was in college in 1964.I had a part time job working for Life Magazine.I had part time jobs every semester as well as every summer.Working for Life was the very best.

I will never be okay but I try my very best to have a positive attitude .My family is very supportive .I have an Occupational Therapist who aside from being excellent is one of the most caring human beings I have ever met. She has set goals for me to accomplish that I was certain I would never be able to do and somehow I have.She has increased my strength greatly.

Someday,hopefully.One is Ulcerative Colitis .I was diagnosed in 2004 .While I still have the illness I have not had it bad since 2013.I have to follow a diet and do not eat foods that can cause problems.I have had 7;skin cancer surgeries.Will there ever be a cure for that ,I do not know .I stay out of the sun whenever I am outside.I have Post Traumatic Vertigo I get attacks several times a year.I have Fuchs Dystrophy and will need a Corneal Transplant at some point .I have Occular Migraines and I am fine if I do not drink alcohol or eat chocolate.I have had many surgeries for Spinal Stenosis .I could go on but I think you understand my points of reference.

I try to stay positive . I belong to a very caring Support Group and that has helped me greatly. Thanks for your posts,H.

Late this afternoon my BP spiked again.I called my doctor and he told me to take a higher dose of one of the medications I am taking.I had been taking a higher dose but it lowered my BP so much that my doctor changed it.I am going to try one more day on what I am taking currently.

I am dealing with 17 medical issues ,15 are curable.While theoretically one cannot die from Parkinson’s but illnesses related to the disease can cause one to leave the planet.

There is no cure for two of the medical issues that I have,Venous Insufficiency and Parkinson’s.Both have gotten worse over the past year. I took myself off the medications because the side effects are horrible and since the medications cannot cure the illnesses I have decided to live my life as long as it may be my way I have had a wonderful life with many good friends.My father lived to age 85 with both of these illnesses and more. Toby knows who the CC people are who I e-mail with and when I leave the planet or get to the point where I am unable to post on here. Thank you to all those who have posted about me this past week.I sincerely appreciate your thoughts

Many of my medical issues resurfaced this week.One of my doctors who is a wonderful person as well as a doctor has been trying to get me a consult with a doctor who is considered to be among the very best on the planet.

I believe I last posted Saturday or Sunday.My blood pressure spiked up very high necessitating at emergency visit to the doctor treating me for hypertension.I also accidentally overdosed on two medications As I have posted on here numerous times I have 16 medical issues besides Parkinsons and several of them decided to cause me problems this week. Graham,I believe you are referring to Julie .We are not in conversational contact but we play each other in WWF .That keeps my brain active. Thanks for your concern .

I played and watched college basketball in the 60’s.In my opinion there was nothing better than watching the UCLA dynasty .

On a cruise ship ?

I would assume that owners of cruise ships were always in it for the money .

One of my daughters and her husband also do Tik Tok videos but they are not famous as Kim and Penn.Perhaps they should go on the Amazing Race.

On this date in 2003 ,Toby and I moved into our Condo Complex.We were still working and we were healthy .We chose to move here because there were more amenities than any other all ages complex we looked at. One of the interesting things is that many of the residents are avid cruisers.

It will be 60 and sunny where I am next Friday and Saturday. I have met 11 people who post on CC including 2 who post on this thread.I am in person friends or e-mail friends with many of the 11.

When The Irishman opened a few years ago it was also on a cable TV station.

I only had one job where traveling was involved and solely in the US .
