  1. Not really a good analogy because Delta and United are not part of the same corporation. That said, I don't think there is any reciprocity between Royal and Celebrity.
  2. They never did for US citizens from US ports. They used to require it for Non-US departures, but that has been lifted as of July 1.
  3. I should clarify, it was not required for US/US ports. Only requirement was US/non-US departures. Now it's not required at all for US passengers.
  4. Bret, you're right about how it's poorly worded, and we may see a correction at some point due to the confusion. Regardless, this is good news and getting back to "normal". If they would just now quit the testing, we be in great shape. Since our sailing is Med, we generally take the travel insurance anyway mainly for medical and evacuation but not through the cruiseline.
  5. It says"new" reservations starting July 1. Mine is an old reservation. July 1 is a reservation date, not a sailing date.
  6. For US passengers, not required for US or non-US sailings as of July 1. Just look under the Health and Safety Measures.
  7. Not sure I understand the circumstances. An upgrade generally means you pay more for something. So what's the refund for?
  8. I just saw this. So for the same cruise sailing, people can either have to or not have to have insurance based on when they booked? Seems hard to administer. For U.S. and Puerto Rico residents departing on cruises from a non-U.S. port and non-U.S. residents departing on cruises from U.S. and international ports:For all new reservations, beginning July 1, 2022, MSC Cruises strongly encourages but does not require fully vaccinated guests to purchase travel insurance with COVID-19 protection either through MSC Cruises or another provider. https://www.msccruisesusa.com/health-and-safety-measures#faq
  9. We're docking in Venice on November 6th and wondering what the earliest flight we would be able to take out of Marco Polo that day. I know the ship docks and shuttles you to Venice Passenger Terminal for disembarkation.
  10. Yes, my cruise was adjusted for the savings once my match was made. It did take a few months for the match though. Others have had theirs matched much quicker.
