Had more issues on our cruises and land trips to the Caribbean than any of our cruises to Mexico. Mom walks all over, at times by herself. We go to the mercados for lunch.

You might want to call Trump and have them take Mexico off the Travel Alert list. ;)

I finally went on Allure. I have been wanting to since it came out. I thought it would be my absolute favorite and I thought I'd love Royal, I thought it was more my personality. As it turned out my family wasn't really thrilled with royal. Probably won't do them again but will absolutely go on Carnival. We had a great time on our trip with them. You just never know.

Thanks for watching! I'd give Royal another chance if I were you. The huge ships have a totally different "feel and experience" IMO than the "smaller" ships. Try the Freedom Of The Sea's if you can find a good deal. One of my favorites!

Exactly! I always go Eastern Caribbean. Too many problems in Mexico.

Guess I am in the minority. I'd take a cove balcony. So close to the water and private. Love them!

Other than Cabo, my advice is either stay in the port area or on the ship. JMO

You're welcome! Thanks for watching. I had fun putting it together. I felt the same on the Harmony. Don't get me wrong, if they have an itinerary I want and the cost is right, I'll take it. But, feel the same and enjoy Carnival a bit more. :D

No, there's no lines on the huge RC ships, you're right. You know why? Because you need reservations for EVERYTHING! Including the Bistro. No lines if you can just turn people away that don't have reservations. AND the pizza on RC sucks! PROOF

What beach did you go to in San Juan?

Honestly I forgot the beaches name but it was in an industrial area. I would probably look elsewhere for something more beachy if I return.

It never would have occurred to me that someone would so heavily factor movies in to their cruising decisions. More power to ya.

This just goes to show how many things involves people's decisions on how or why they cruise. It is SO subjective. :D
