5000 people on board and they only have 1 poker table?
Texas Hold'em table, yes, 1
Now they have other "poker" game tables with a dealer and you're playing against the house but it's not tournament style.
-
Is it a real dealer or electronic tables?
How many dealers or tables?
No limit or limit?
Blinds? 1/2, 2/4, 2/5??

I'll take a shot at this question. I am assuming you mean Texas Hold'em. If it's like the Harmony and the Freedom which I am sure it is, they have one electronic table that you play against other live players. You just sit down and swipe your card to put money in. It is no limit and I would never go to the table with less than $100. It automatically rakes the blinds. I think the blinds are 1/2. It's not compounding blinds.

Enjoyed your video and comments - looked like you had a fun trip! Thanks for the link! :)
I know it's long but there's a LOT to cover with that ship and seven days. Thank you for watching! It was a great trip! :)

I really enjoyed your video. Thanks for posting.
Thank you! Loved making it! Thinking about going on another cruise just so I can make another one. LOL :D

.Anyone??Here you go.

First of all, as others have (or should have, IMO) said: thank you for making the video. Like it or not, the ship is what it is (and isn't). We've been on the Allure, Oasis, and Anthem and are about to spend a week on Harmony. One of my questions was, "Has the speed of dining services in the MDR improved?" Obviously, he answer is "no" and I think it is a little late for anybody at RCCL to be trotting out the many, MANY excuses including "not enough this or that..." You gonna make it "the biggest?" Fine, but be ready to have it be "the biggest" in more than just size.
We are, as we always are, looking forward to the cruise. We have been "loyal to Royal" but we've also been "loyal to Celebrity" and we adjust our thinking and expectations whenever we book on either line accordingly.
You're "the best" for doing this because I know it takes a LOT of time and effort which you really didn't have to spend. There are gonna be some who will blow the whole thing off which is unfortunate.
Best wishes and keep on cruising.
Thank you for the kind words! I love making these videos and was happy to share this experience with everyone. We had a GREAT time as I am sure you will! I have found that I am not really "loyal" to any cruise line. I just try ships on any line I can and I find my favorite ships and ports. You are exactly right though about adjusting expectations with which line you are planning on. I have to say, a cruise pretty much has to basically sink for me to have a "bad" cruise. I go for what no cruise line can guarentee me and that's sun, ocean, palm trees and warmth. All the extra stuff comes second to me. Thanks again for watching and enjoying my video!! :D

Nicely done video! I don't usually watch videos that are this long but I watched the whole thing!! Your commentary was great! Thank you for taking the time to do this. You & your wife are so cute together!
Awww, Thank you for the kind words debitoo!! I know it's Looong but there's so much to cover on a ship that big and 7 days. LOL Thanks for watching!!

Great video and lovely family! We sailed with Royal on a freedom class (Indy) before and loved it, last year we went with Carnival Magic and we were little disappointed with the shows/entertainment and just overall quality. Actually decided that we probably will not do Carnival again and stay with Royal. After watching you guys and some of the issues with service I am little worried about the size of the ship and amount of people. I hope we didn't make a mistake and stick with freedom class. We chose Harmony because of our kids (12, 14) and all the stuff for them to have fun on so I hope it will pay off. Definitely will be visiting Wonderland! Thank you
Don't worry a bit! You and the kids are going to have a GREAT time on the Harmony! There are "hiccups" on any cruise and ship. I just roll with it and still have a good time! Thank you for the compliment! :D

Very comprehensive. I wish all reviews and vlogs could be like this!

So seasoned carnival cruisers what is something you wish you had known on your first carnival cruise......???
That writing something on the card will NOT get you it if they don't offer it on the menu.
Yes, I actually tried it by wanting some scrambled eggs for breakfast room service. I got everything I marked except NO eggs! LOL I tried...

Great video. Spoiler Question- did you reserve Wonderland ahead or just showed up? If you reserved ahead, did it give you different options as to whether you had the whole meal or not? What time did you go?
Also, in the video the waiter says that if you don't have reservations they may have some openings the first day because it's not well known yet. So if you are interested, try booking as soon as you get on the ship for the first evening dinner.

Good, I was worried because it was starting later for me. I think I fixed it.

Wow! Many here have had some problems with them it seems. I fly out of South Bend Indiana and go non-stop to either Clearwater/St. Petersburgh Florida (near Tampa) or Sanford (near Orlando) for my cruises and family visits. Taken them dozens of times. I pay for my seat ($13 I believe). That's all I pay extra for! One 40lb or less bag and my backpack FULL is free. Plenty for me for up to 2 weeks gone. Had a 2 hour delay ONCE. I consider them the "subway ride in the skies" but for 2 hour flights I have no problem with it. I get on, crank up the iPad with a movie and by the time it's finishing, we are landing. Never had a problem with them.

Thanks for posting the video. Also, Thank you so much for showing an inside cabin. Most people post suites and balconies and rarely are the inside cabins shown. We have an inside cabin on deck 12 on our upcoming Harmony cruise. I was so happy to get a view of it ahead of time.
Nice video! :D
Thank you very much. It was a little small but we enjoyed it and it was OK for us. We were on the 11th deck so I'm sure they will be just the same. Have a great cruise!

Thank you!
We could not get in for dinner due to the reservations being all booked up. We were able to just walk in for desserts. It was $10 per person for all 3 desserts for 2 to share. We went around 7pm for the desserts.

Nice video!

Those Darn Pool Deck Chairs
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
Someone should invent a cheap little 30 minute spring loaded timer that connects easily to the chair frame. Maybe the size of a silver dollar. If someone is sitting in the chair, doesn't matter if timer is working. It should be a rule that if you leave said chair you MUST activate timer. If you leave and do not activate, chair is free for all. If the timer is running, chair is saved. I am sure some company could make these things for very little cost and make them simple and cheap.
