Geesh! Why not have some shorter sailings so we can all see the ship. I don't get why they don't have any preview sailings.
-
Yes, thank you but I thought that someone might know of some TA short sailings. Bummer. I have not heard of any.

Was looking for a short cruise on Mardis Gras when she comes over to the US, but see none. Geesh, I wish there was something!
-
Never mind. I guess it was discontinued several years ago. Not sure why though.

Does Royal offer this package any longer? Haven't heard a thing about it lately.

Is there a special beach area for suite guests? There used to be I think.
None yet. Not sure if they are going to do that here or not.

Just got back this week from a day on Coco Cay on Mariner and it was absolutely awesome. The freshwater pool was the bomb diggity! The only problem was that it was extremely cold so it was hard to stay in long but it was just unbelievably fabulous. Royal has hit this out of the park and I cannot wait to see it all done. The food was exceptional and the place where they have the food is such an upgrade from what they used to have. Very impressed. Once you get off the ship, it's quite a walk to the lagoon pool but everything is right in that vicinity so it's not too much walking once you get to the center of the island. I was overjoyed that we finally got to see it and get in the pool. I'm sure that others will agree with me is that this is a top notch destination for sure!

Just FYI......Just found out that the 4 new Junior Suites on the 11th Deck do NOT have bathtubs, or walk in closets.
So where, how did you find out this information? That's quite interesting but I found out nothing like that.

Could you post your letter of the perks? My friend will be on Mariner next month and was thinking of getting it.
Sure but I am also sure that someone has posted it already on here several times if you want it right now

Thanks for the information on Chops. Now does anyone have any idea of how long it took at Jamie's Italian?

That is why I am asking to see if others had a similar experience. If they did, was Jamie's Italian any better?
-
On embarkation day, how long was the lunch at Chops? I am hoping that it is not too long!

You can't possibly go wrong with the grand suite, hands down! I always go for the best that I can afford. I've never ever regretted it. The perkd make it worthwhile even on a short four nighter.

Security same line as most everyone else, check-in though there is a key line. We didn't have any real wait at security though so I didn't think about it at all.
Thank you! Yes, that's usually what happens with me as well but I just wondered.

HELL YEAH I would pay for a chair or a pair!!!! I always wondered why in the world they haven't started that already! BUT, that being said, I want my chair in the solarium of Freedom class or lower and by the Main Pool on Oasis class.
I wish you could actually pick your chair when you choose your cabin, lol! I'm not kidding, just like the airlines do for seats. Yes, I was hoping it was part of the Key program or I wish they had something to what Princess has in the Sanctuary but alas, they do not. The solarium is too covered and too forward for me on Oasis class but I'd love the Main pool area. I love the sun and go on a ship for the pool and the sun (of course along with everything else!).

My sister also booked one of those JS on Deck 11 and we both thought that was a typo as well but don't think so once we looked at the plans. Hoping that someone will soon upload a picture of the balcony from one of those four staterooms.

Oh geez. So what is surf and stream like? Reliable? I don't need to stream but I do need to jump onto the net to update some things while away. AND I would like to use WiFi calling while onboard. Any experience with that?

I thought I read on a recent post that Mariner does NOT have the O3B technology and that will impact me directly since I need the internet for work. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks in advance.

I am just blown away by these pictures! What an awesome job you did. Are you a true photographer by trade? Because if you're not you should be! Thank you so much for taking the time to do this period do you know if anyone has any photos of the new junior suites on Deck 11 forward?
You know I hardly recognize the "new" ship! I've been on her several times and I can't believe the transformation. It's amazing. I think I'm going to have to go again.

Don't get me wrong....I love pools. Just seems weird to take a cruise to a private island that has the calmest water I have ever seen, surrounded by fish, and look forward to the pool 😉
Different strokes....
I too love the ocean but my body responds differently than everybody else's in salt water. All that salt makes me blow up and I do mean that. I don't need any more fat on me please and I hate the sand in my toes but I love to look at the ocean. I'm so happy that there's finally a fresh water pool there. That's the ultimate for me, especially while looking at the Caribbean's Sea.

Oasis Refurb
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
I remember when Oasis came across the pond and the smoke stacks had to be retracted in order to fit under a bridge. At that time, I also remember that Royal said that this could only happen one time and they would never use that feature or be able to use the feature again at a $1M price tag.
So how is it going to fit under the Veranzzo-Narrows bridge? Just curious. Thanks!
