Gambee-
Take a look at http://istockphoto.com. I heard Kim Komando talking about selling stock photos the other day and remembered it when reading your review. I'm sure there are other sites out there.

OK, How'd you do this one? Photoshop?
It's a cool effect. I'd like to see one where the ship is "exploding", but the dock, water, sky, etc is "normal". If you did this in Photoshop, can you tell me how? I'd like to try playing with the effect.

Day 5 Sea Day
As mentioned before there was a crew filming RCCL newest commercial and they were in the rock climbing wall filming away. I hope they managed to get some video, those skies must of affected the quality that day. She took one picture of the film crew. You can also see a lady in the boardwalk checking stuff on her computer.
No problems with clouds... that light is an HMI... it's color balanced to the sun, so it can light up all they need.

Gambee, you're doing an excellent job! We're sailing Oasis in June, but thought I'd read your review because the ships are so similar. I got hooked immediately!
Great job! I especially like how you use a different font for the "review" posts... makes them very easy to find and read.

Great job on the review. The pictures are wonderful!
What cabin did you have?
-
Don't they have machines that do that at Walt Disney World?
One of the cheaper souvenirs you can get there. :D

Nope. There are cabanas at both beaches. Google maps does not update their satellite photos very often. Why you see is probably not representative of what is there now.
That doesn't surprise me. I am a LITTLE surprised there's not a more current RCI map (like what I posted above) showing all the cabanas.

That's ONLY if you have cabana in Barefoot Beach ...which is the private beach area for suite guests. If you are renting a cabana on-line, it will be located at Nellie's Beach...which is open to all guests....you will have access to Barefoot as a cabana renter but your actual cabana will not be in that private area.
Unless the map I posted is wrong, it looks like ALL the cabanas are at Barefoot beach. I even went on Googlemaps and it looks like ALL the cabanas are at Barefoot beach. Of course the map (or google) could be outdated. Can someone confirm/deny?

Here's a map of Labadee... the upper right has the layout of the cabanas. I keep going back to this, so thought I'd post it here.

It was very good that you booked your cabana well in advance. I had been perusing the cabanas, and trying to make up my mind as to the value of a cabana, in light of the other activities I wanted to indulge ... Initially, the Over-the-water cabana [Nellie's Beach] had been listed at $200.00. It has since increased to $250.00, and I would like to know the correct reason for the sudden steep increase ... Demand? Holiday pricing? I do not believe they now include a bottle of wine with the cabana rental, so I am at a loss to explain what I feel to be a bit of 'gouging'. Am I wrong to feel this way? Does the sudden $50.00 increase cover tips for the attendants? Can anyone offer a plausible explanation, please? Thank you. ;)
Supply & demand, like any other commodity? If they constantly sell out (with a waiting list) at the current price, it only makes sense to raise the cost. Now, a $50 increase might be a little much, but if that $50 means they don't sell as well, they'll lower the price.

Yes - it was in post #829...I'll copy and paste for you here:
We last left our frazzled and frantic travelers getting unceremoniously kicked off the ship several hours too soon, and heading to their Barcelona apartment…stuffed in a tiny cab with suitcases and carry-ons up to their eyeballs….
We were lucky. When we arrived at the apartment, four hours early, we received the good news that our apartment was ready to check-in. We needed some good news…because as we were riding in the cab, I had a bit of time to pull out our Seapass account. And that’s when I saw the arcade charges…
$220.00.
Yes. Mickey had racked up over $220 in arcade charges. ACK! I didn’t even spend that on alcohol!!! Heck, I didn’t even spend that at the SPA! She’s lucky I didn’t murder her right there in the cab. I probably would have, except my arms were squished down and I couldn’t reach her. She was “saved by squishing.” If we had been at home, she would have been grounded for a year…but I couldn’t exactly ground her and leave her by herself in an apartment in Barcelona…darn it. So, she got to go with us and enjoy the day – although I told her right then and there she’d be my slave for a year. A YEAR, mind you. She's been working off her arcade tab slowly now...and needless to say, she was grounded from the arcade on the Freedom of the Seas - in case you're wondering. She's grounded from arcades for LIFE now.
:p:p
Thank you! While a Med cruise won't happen for us for a LONG time (if at all), thanks for taking the time to write all this up. VERY enjoyable!

Did I miss it somewhere (very possible)... how bad was Mickey's arcade tab? And what did you say to her? :D
Great review BTW.

OK, who wants to play...
Using the theory posted earlier, I have 7530 as the bed close to the closet. 7130 however would have the bed close to the balcony, correct?
Now to decide which.
Thanks

Sherri,
Once again, a great review. A quick question... when did you take all these pictures? Everything is EMPTY! I also noticed the bars were closed up. Were you up at dawn or something?
