I believe you can have your points "refunded" if you cancel your cruise. I would call the BOA redemption folks and ask.
Ok I'll call and see what they say...thank you

Isn’t a “paid for” trip sufficient reason to request your jury duty date to be rescheduled?
I wish, in louisiana the only exemption is over 70 years of age or not being able to read and write

I just got a jury duty subpoena for Nov 18th, our cruise leaves on Nov 23rd (flight on 22nd).
We have insurance, so I'm not too concerned about the cruise cost, etc. we are bummed but that's life. I've been subpoena 5 times before but only had to report once ( they cancel the night before)
My question is specific to my Bank of America points and obc.
Usually I would apply my points to an obc around 30 days before cruise BUT... jury duty.
Do you believe, if my jury duty is canceled the night of the 17th, it would be too late and too rushed to apply for the obc then ??? (Not really interested in applying it to another cruise, just this one)

None on Apex Celebrity Suite last week.
4 chairs and 2 tables
Dear celebrity.....And that's why I didn't do a move up bid.... don't want to spend more and then have to be disappointed there is no loungers or worse have to fight to get one, I'll keep my porthole veranda and my extra money

Thank you for the replys, it is much appreciated

If I buy OBC for someone, it will NOT be visible in their cruise planner. So they won't know for sure it's been post to the cruise until they board.
I also believe, I have read on here that some people had an issue with it not being there once they boarded and they had to produce a hard copy to show customer service on board.
Is the above correct?

Your question is very interesting to me. I purchased celebrity's insurance because of the cfar and I WAS considering my first move up offer. But now I pause, considering what you are asking. I had heard the move up money was nonrefundable, period.
But to possibly have a medical claim denied, based on the move up not being covered. Is thought provoking.

Apparently if you access your booking on final payment day for any reason, it cues IT that this is a new booking and it is rebooked at the current rates.
Is this the case for everyone or just comped casino bookings?

Thank you all for your replys, they were most helpful.

We have only been on the solstice and on rcl Oasis class. The frame of the rcl Oasis class is so thick and heavy the bed is virtually immovable VS the celebrity solstice which had a light weight tube type frame, much much easier to move.
I have looked and looked but all the youtube videos have the bed skirt in place.
Anyone out there have first hand knowledge of the bed frames on apex?????
My intention is to be able to MOVE the bed .... I KNOW, I can ask room steward
HOWEVER we prefer NOT to, we have the bed separate for sleeping and want to push them together one or two afternoons.... if we involve the room Steward , then it's a NO GO. (Over share I know, but without context, others won't get WHY heaviness of bed frame is important)
I know people's intentions are good by sharing, other advice and suggestions, BUT I Really ONLY want to know about the type of bed frame TY

Exactly the same thing happened to us. I made a VT booking a few months ago for this coming October and received the VT confirmation. Literally days after I booked I re-checked the VT site and our dates were now blacked out. I never checked the Hyatt site, but I did immediately call the hotel, who confirmed I did NOT have a reservation. To date I have never received any communication from VT cancelling my booking with them. Call the hotel directly ASAP.
Will do, ty

Verify with the hotel itself, not the National reservation center, and don’t be surprised if something changes.
OK, ty you for your reply 😁

Ty for your reply 😁

I made a reservation in March for Nov this year. I have a valid reservation (when checked on hyatt website) I have a screen shot of the blackout dates from when I booked in March, which did Not list my date. When I visited VT website today, my dates are now listed as blackout date.
Should I worry????
Should I email VT???
Or do you simply think they reach there capacity for that date??

I am a world class worrier.
I can assure you, you will have plenty of time.

Not an issue. They don't care what cruise you're using it on, just so long as it posts from Celebrity.
Do you know if all 500 must be in ONE transaction, i only owe 440 lefton my cruise, i would have to go back and then buy something in the cruise planner for atleast 60... but would be 2 transactions

I had no idea, so I went and looked. It definitely says "nonrefundable" in the terms and conditions, so I think that's how it is.
Ty for your reply. I'm thinking most people get the "have it all" and don't realize this nonrefundable issue, if you book cruise only fare.

I was looking to purchase the non alcoholic package for me and dh. According to the terms, they are NONREFUNDABLE
This is new to me, rcl let's you cancel if you want.
Just checking that the NONREFUNDABLE info is correct, ie no reason to pre-book.

we've just stayed at the Hyatt through Valuetrips reservations (2 rooms). I checked the Hyatt website several times up to the day of arrival to make sure our reservations were intact.
How did you check the website. My reservation isn't under my upcoming trips obviously, bc I booked thru VT.
when I asked to add it to my acct, just so I could do the same, and check on it. They said no, and thought I wanted to earn pts on that night ( which I didn't and Wasn't asking to do, just see it on Hyatt website)
-
I have not used then, I have a reservation for this fall.
My only advice, check threads there were recent posts about trouble with reservation being honored. This is a few of many BUT best to be informed
"Hyatt Place-10th St.Canceled Reservation"

I am just asking ..... is there a way to purchase obc ahead of the cruise?????
-
I have when waiting to purchase the zero proof but celebrity keeps jacking up the price to put it on sale at an actual higher price ie instead of 27 a day its now 32.
I want to BUY obc so when I pay as I go on board I won't have a huge bill later
-
I have given up on the purchasing the zero proof and want to prepay for our drinks via OBC. Royal caribbean has a way in the cruise planner to purchase obc but I don't see it on Celebrity.
Does anyone know how to do this?
Celebrity Cruise company / travel agency double booked our room! How can we get full reimbursement for trip costs?
