On my last Carnival cruise, it rained in Jamaica for half the day. We already had an excursion booked so we went ahead with our plans anyway. We went river tubing [in the rain] and up Dunn's River. It poured while we went tubing but we all had the best time! Dunn's River was more of the same. If we had cancelled, we would have missed out on so many awesome memories. But anyways, like some of the other posters have said, the rain is never constant. Don't let it ruin your plans... you can wait it out or stay on the ship... your choice :)

Bajangoddess82. What level were you on. And if main. Did you have noise problems with the floor above you being its a stage floor
I was on the first deck so I had cabins above me buuuutttt, I am a very light sleeper so I came prepared and used earplugs every night... I didn't hear a thing! :P

I would choose the Breeze. The Valor has not been 2.0 upgraded yet and you've already done 2 from PR. Go with the newer ship :)

Yes. All of the rooms have a fridge and they are fully stocked w/ sodas, beer, airplane bottles of liquor. If you want, you can just remove all of that and place it on the desk area so you can have more room for your items. That is what I did. Just make sure your cabin steward makes note of it so you do not get charged for any of those items.
I was on the Freedom in an OV the year before and yes, it is larger than an interior but I am not sure about the size when comparing it to a balcony room. We had 3 in our cabin. All OV rooms have a couch, some of them are sofa beds. Depending on the configuration of your room, you will either have 2 uppers above each twin bed or 2 twins, a sofa bed and an upper above the couch.

Called Carnival last week about this... No, it does NOT have the 2.0 upgrades yet. It was scheduled for some time next year but their dry dock date has been pushed back to 2015 :( I have a cruise booked on this ship at the end of 2014 and was kinda disappointed when I realized I have to wait a bit longer for a 'Guy's Burger' :) Oh well - there's always the next cruise!
