I honestly think the sound of a door slamming is triggering for a lot of people. It doesn't bother me, but I think it's a fairly common thing to be triggered by the sound of a door shutting loudly.

So my wife and I are looking into doing a tour/tasting at the Cayman Spirits Co. while we're in port in October. I was looking at the distillery's website and you can book tours there for $15 per person. I also found an excursion through another site that is $67 per person and (as far as I can tell) it's just the same tour plus transportation to and from the port. Would it be possible to just get a taxi there and back you think? Surely that would cost less than $100, right? Or would it make sense to just book the excursion and not worry about it? Also, if anyone has any insights about that particular distillery tour, I'd love to hear. $15 seems pretty cheap. Is it a nice enough time? Or should we just look into doing something different in Grand Cayman?

A few years ago, we cruised to Montego Bay and Carnival had a shuttle that you could take from the port to a beach and back for a fee. It wasn't an excursion you booked, you just showed up and gave them your S&S card and you were off. (I think it would also stop at a shopping spot, but we didn't get off there.) Does anyone know if Carnival still offers this? We're thinking about booking a cruise that goes there and would like to do it again if it's available.
