  1. If you have a party of 4, the Comfort Inn would be less expensive for the Atlantis Day passes. Not sure if 4 is the breakeven point, or maybe 3. I guess it depends on the cost of the Comfort Inn room.

Yes we just have 3 so going straight through Atlantis is cheaper. If we had 4 then the hotel would be cheaper. I just wondered if I would be best to book ahead of time or wait till we get there..... Thanks!

  2. So we have a room booked at comfort suites to get the day pass but after looking at the Atlantis site it's actually cheaper for us to book straight through Atlantis than through comfort suits or of course through the cruise line. So my question is would it be better to book it online ahead of time or just buy the day pass at Atlantis? Do they "sell out" of day passes?

  3. Ok I want to make sure I got this all correct. First off all rooms come with the day passes to Atlantis correct? There will be 2 adults and 1 6 yr old. We will all 3 get a pass correct?

Also we are now sailing on an itinerary which is 7 days with just 1 stop at Nassau for 2 nights in port. (itinerary changed for ship maintenance in December) So I went ahead and made a reservation the 2nd night we are staying in port but want to use our day passes the day that we check in. exp.

    Dec. 3rd leave Galveston

    Dec. 4th at sea

Dec. 5th arrive at Nassau 9 pm

Dec 6th docked (this is the night I have our reservation... checking out on the 7th but we want to use our day passes on the 6th and go ahead and check out the same day.)

Dec 7th docked but leaving at 11:15 pm.

    Dec.8th at sea

    Dec 9th at sea

    Dec 10th disembark

    Can we do this?

How long does it take to get from the port to the hotel?

I've read that you can walk to Atlantis from Comfort suits or is it best just to have the taxi wait while we check in and get our bands any everything we need?

Any advice of what we need to do is appreciated. Our 2nd day we are thinking of going to Pearl Island does anyone have anything good or bad to say about that?

  4. I thought I read on here from another poster that the broadway show of Saturday Night Fever ha ended. Does anyone know for sure and if so what was it replaced with?

Also are the slides adult & kids area open sea days as well as port days?

And a silly question is there any place to get a hamburger on board? Our last cruise we couldn't find hamburgers anywhere. I know the windjammer used to always have them but on our last cruise on Oasis there were none to be found :(. Thanks!

  5. I actually think something else may be going on. I think Liberty is being bumped off all her Roatan, Costa Maya, Cozumel routes to make room from rerouted ships from Florida that were going to do the Eastern Caribbean route. We are booked on the Feb 11, 2018 sailing and if you go to book that sailing you get a box saying the itinerary has changed to 3 nights in Nassau! Haven't received an email yet but looks like this may not be an error on the website like I thought. Every sailing sailing that was to have done this route through Feb that I checked is now showing Nassau if you select the cruise to book. Shows the original route until you actually select it. The alternate weeks are still going to Grand Cayman Cozumel and Falmouth.

That was actually my first initial thought too. Them saying it was for service was the only thing that made me think differently but I had no idea the other sailings were showing Nassau as well. I wouldn't mind the change so much if we at least made more than 1 port! I wonder what the extra entertainment will be as well....

  6. It's a scheduled service...much like you schedule a oil change for your car and any other regular upkeep. I wouldn't think it is worth wondering if the ship will have "trouble" getting to the destination, it certainly isn't in danger of breaking down...it's just a planned service.

Yes it's a "planned service " but just now planned. It hasn't been out of dry dock that long so must be something wrong for them to change a cruise for a service. For if it was truly planned I think they would have scheduled this cruise originally as a bahamas cruise so they would not have to change an itinerary. I mean they are offering us 1/2 back! That doesn't sound planned to me.

  7. We are scheduled on Liberty out of Galveston on December 3rd. It's supposed to be an eastern Caribbean itinerary and I just got an email today saying that due to service that we will need to be in Nassau on December 5th. SO now all we are doing is sailing to Nassau and staying to nights and coming back. Still 7 days. My question is obviously the ship needs work has anyone ever been on a cruise like? Is it worth going? Are we going to have any trouble getting there? Should we just cancel and do something else? Can we still do all the excursions? Thanks!

  8. We are going on Liberty of the Seas in December and want to go to Passion Island but the only excursion through Royal Caribbean that I see is the twister boat to get there and our daughter is too young. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to get there otherwise? Thanks!

  9. Crazy question for a friend. We've been to Labadee several times but never done the zipline.... she was wanting to know is there anyone there from the ship taking pictures? Or can you mount a gopro camera to the helmets you wear? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated!

  10. If "next week" is the 30 Jan Oasis sailing, that is the same sailing I'm on. It sounds like you are postulating Oasis into Nassau the day after sailing (31 Jan)- Allure is in FLL that day. If Labadee is a no go, my hope is for Falmouth, Costa Maya and Cozumel - they all have dock space on the likely days, and while I don't think Costa Maya is an excellent port, I like it much more than Nassau. YMMV

Thom yes we are on the same sailing! I would totally go for Costa Maya I really don't care where we go just would prefer to port somewhere rather than do it as a sea day. If it's not safe I don't want to go we are bring our 4 yr daughter for the first time so we are absolutely safety first!

  11. Hi we are sailing on Oasis this coming Saturday ad it doesn't look likely that we will be able to go to Labadee does anyone know what port they may be able to sub it with? I thought maybe Nassau but Allure would be there also so don't think there is room for 2 big ships. So what do you guys think they could sub is with. I know Oasis is limited to where they can go because of her size.

  12. That looks great! One question though we want to be able to walk off the ship directly after it docks in the am and not wait to disembark at a certain time how will we get back to the park&go lot? Are they open that early and can we get a ride back there that early? Thanks!
