Does anyone know what ship will sail out of New Orleans fall of 2016? I know the schedules not release yet but didn't know if anyone has any insider knowledge.

Ok so can someone help me out with the cabana's? How do you book one and how much are they. I didn't see it in the excursion's.

BTW I'm loving all the pics. We are taking our dd on Oasis for her first cruise she will be 4 at the time we cruise and she's been looking at the pics getting really excited. I don't know who's more disappointed that it's a year away us or her! haha

Thank you everyone for your input! As a lot of you said you are on vacation on a boat how can you have a bad time! :) I think I would like to try it just to see how it compares. I appreciate the video's that was great. We aren't booked on anything until Jan 2016 at this time and plan to take our daughter for the first time who will be 4, but I am always looking at prices and looking for a deal so you just never know when the next cruise may come up! :)

Ok just wanted to get opinions on how RCCL and Norwegian compare to each other. We have only sailed RCCL and Celebrity and to be honest wasn't as impressed with Celebrity as I thought I would be so wanted some opinions of people that have sailed both. We are considering Norwegian in the in the future. I like the slides for our daughter so any imput would be appreciated! Thanks!

We are doing Oasis in Jan 2016 and I'm read a couple of posts of people saying that they have already booked entertainment this far out but other places I've seen people say 6 months out from sailing. I'm not able to book anything right now so what is everyone else's experience o how soon you were able to book entertainment or dining. Thanks!

I know everyone has a personal opinion of this but if you like facing the ports which side should you book the port or the starboard side of the ship?

Also I know I read a post to tell you how to know which side of the room your bed will be on (either by the closet or by the balcony) can someone help me with that please? I can't remember and I can't find that post. Thanks for your help!

We had Christopher as our activities director in January on Serenaded and absolutely loved him! I would love to see him as a CD. I think he would be great!

I check prices at 5:30 am and they were still the BOGO prices. It's now changed and I am doing Oasis in Jan 2016 D1 Balcony on the hump. We said almost $1000 dollars!! :D Now I'm still gonna keep watching for price drops because I still think it will happen in the future so we will see but so far I'm happy!

Can anyone tell me what exactly is the dreamworks experience? We will have a 4 yr old when we cruise on Oasis. I didn't know what all will be available. I thought I read something about a character breakfast. Do you make reservations for that under dining like you would if you were reserving specialty dining?? What other things are available and does everything cost extra? Thanks we've never cruised it a child so this will be an all new experience for us!

Ok so are these balcony's really bigger? It looks like it. We are looking at booking on the Oasis and we will do a balcony room as always but want to know how they are. I'm specifically looking at room # 11594 if anyone has stayed in that room.

Also is it true if there is a price drop prior to your final payment you can be eligible for the lower price? We are looking at booking over a year out so the buy one get one 1/2 off sale is what we would book under but on the chance that it really isn't a good sale I want to make sure I can get the price drop. Hi, I'm looking at booking Allure for myself DH and our 1 child who will be 4 when we would plan to go. My question is what is the difference between all the categories. I know we want a nice ocean balcony room someone please help me!

Rita's didn't have a huge menu, there was nacho's which is what my dh and I both got. Then they had some crispy rolls I think with chicken in them and quesadilla's. If I remember there was only like 5 things on the menu. I think there was also plain traditional taco's for kids. (hard shell, meat, cheese, lettuce)

We had actually been on Serenade back in 2010 so not a lot was different. I mean the decor is all just upgraded and flat screen tv's in the staterooms. The large tv screen at the pool. They took out the glass lighted steps in the centrum that I loved because they were good for pictures. I was sad about that.... they took them out for the R Bar I believe. That is pretty but we don't drink so didn't use it. We did not go to the cinema although we talked about it and there wasn't anything I wanted to see but then again I'm not much of a movie person. To be honest I can't remember the last time we went to the movies! Sorry I probably didn't help you a whole lot. I honestly don't really see what they spent all their money on. I think they said it was a 58 million dollar revitalize it didn't look all that much different from what I remember but it was still very nice. It's a great ship.

We also just got off Serenade this past Saturday the 11th. I agree was not happy at all with MTD. We went at about 8 every night. We skipped 2 nights 1 we ate at Rita's which was good and very cheap and then at Chops it was fabulous! I was very unhappy with the MTD. It took too long and didn't think our waiters were very friendly but on the 5th night we were seated with Joseph (from India) and Baker (from Nicaragua) and they were awesome!! We asked to be seated in their section the rest of the time and it was much better.

I just wanted to make a correction from the original poster about the beverage package. I believe they were talking about the "Replinish package" it DOES include the coffee from Lattetudes as long as there is not alcohol. I got the package and went about twice a day so with everything I got it was worth it for me. Any other questions I would be happy to try to answer to. Over all we loved the cruise just some things were not as good as previous cruises.

Do they take credit cards for the port parking or cash only? Just trying to plan don't want to spend all my cruise cash before I even leave! haha

If its high winds what's the chances we won't be able to tender? Next weeks forecast isn't looking very promising.

No suggestions for you but you are one that responded to my thread about the Auburn game. We are on the same cruise!. Don't know if you saw where I got a response from the cruise director of our ship that they are showing the game on our cruise! Yeah only 1 week left maybe see you on board! We'll be wearing our Auburn gear! :)

Update!! Guess what I found Topi's email address and wrote him. He responded the next day!! He assured me that the BCS National Championship game will be shown on board! Yeah!! Pay's to at least try. WAR EAGLE!!!

Does anyone know how to contact Topi? I believe he will be our cruise director on the Serenade on 1-4-14. I really want to make sure they show the Auburn vs FSU BCS National Championship game and I had read that you should contact the cruise director to help insure they show it so can someone head me in the right direction? This is REALLY important!!:)

Hey anyone else having trouble with RC website today? We leave in 2 wks and I'm trying to do our online check in but it keeps telling me that I have to wait to get into my reservation do to inactivity. Doesn't make any sense! Anyone else having trouble? I really wanted to get this done today.

Hi my dh and I are on Serenade in Jan and would like to do a snorkle and beach combo but don't see anything we are interested in on RC website so has anyone done a private snorkle and beach excursion? Any info would be appreciated! Thanks
