  1. I'm confused... she's old enough to take a cruise but not old enough to ride in a boat???:confused::confused:

For the excursion that is the jet boat then passion island the age they have to be over 7. It's a very fast boat and I'm sure it's b/c of the seat belts not being able to accommodate a smaller person.

  2. I have 2 questions about Chops. I think we paid $30 pp last time but I think the price has gone up. Could someone verify the price for me? We will be on Oasis in January.

Also does anyone have a kids menu they could post? We are thinking of taking our dd who will be 4 (so looks like she will be free yeah!!) Is that frowned upon by most to have a child in specialty dining venue's? We've been on several cruises alone and bringing her on her first (we think she's old enough for us all to enjoy it now) so we really don't want to use the child care.

    Thanks for the input!

  3. We adopted in 2011. I agree do not put your life on hold. We worried about everything we did to and it only makes an exhausting process more exhausting and makes you crazy! :) Our main problem was our airfare and it wasn't too much of a problem except they gave us a time limit to how far out we could r/s our airline tickets. We had to rebook within 6 months to not loose our airfare but there again it didn't matter a baby was way more important than any money that we would have lost, but it did work out very well for us in the end. I have to say the airline and cruise lines were very accommodating and seems excited for us. I really do wish you luck. I know how it is!

  4. Hey I actually have experience on this! :) We had a cruise booked I honestly now can't remember when it was supposed to sail but we were finally (after a 18 month wait) blessed with a beautiful baby girl shortly before we were supposed to sail. (Now this was on Celebrity but same company) We were already past the final payment and did not purchase trip insurance but they did allow us to re book at a later time with no penalties. We did have to pay a little more because the price of the cruise was higher than what we paid but we were able to do it. Good luck to you and enjoy your trip if no baby comes but hopefully you will be blessed soon and then just have to reschedule for a later date! :) Good luck!

  5. Can someone help me and tell me when the main shows are typically done on Oasis. We are currently book on her January 2016 and our dining options currently are just traditional dining. We have a 4 yr old so currently we are booked at 6:00 but really prefer late dining. I can't find any time of entertainment schedule to help us decide. Our dd will be fine being wide awake during late dining (I swear this kid could stay up all night if we let her)I just worry how that will affect us being able to attend the shows. I hate it that the cruise compass won't even show a schedule even if I can't book anything yet. I would like some time to consider what we want to do.

Does someone that cruised recently have an entertainment sched they can post? We are cruising western Caribbean.

  6. Has anyone used the kids club on Royal Caribbean just for the occasional dinner alone. Our daughter will be 4 at the time and this will be her first cruise. I really can't see us wanting to use the kids club except for dinner time because she does get bored sitting at restaurants. How do we sign her up if that is even a possibility?
