Yes, they only have one broadway production and it runs all week. You make reservations for all the shows on the Oasis class, opens about 90 days prior to sailing IIRC. On the Oasis itself I remember the broadway show, diving show, ice show, acrobat show along with the "regular" acts like comedians and singers.
Usually shown 3 times. On our upcoming Allure it is on the first three days.

Personally I think all of the restaurants are over priced. People on these boards and in everyday life are conditioned or feel entitled to receive some kind of discount. I wish I had a dime for every time the line at a retail establishment was held up by someone who was searching for an online coupon. The prices or MSRP are inflated to cover the discounts. To add insult to injury Royal also adds a gratuity to those inflated prices.
Agree 100%. Plus you've already paid for your meal in the MDR.

We sailed with you. It was a great cruise. You review is pretty spot on. MDR for us was good, but not great. A first for us as we are big MDR fans. Kareme at the Solarium Bar was THE BEST! I have a review gong too. Please comment as you see fit.
Who was your headliner?
Thanks

It says on my planner there is up to 20% off drinks packages until tomorrow. Does the price shown ncluded the discount and is there likely to be a another discount before we go in August. When is the best time to purchase? Would appreciate any help, thanks.
Get it now, and if it goes down lower than your price, cancel and rebook.
Our price is $44 for the Allure Mar. 3rd.

True story
Twenty or so years ago we had a young lady? wear a skimpy negligee to dinner.
They had some provocative pictures taken, which surprisingly were displayed in the photo gallery.
Two or three days later they were kicked off the ship in Georgetown, Cayman Islands for doing drugs.

Americans tend to either over exaggerate their restaurant experience or don't understand what it takes to earn a Michelin Star. I have been to some very expensive premium restaurants that have a dress code but they did not have a Michelin Star rating. I wish I had a dime for every time someone implies that the specialty restaurants on board (insert you favorite cruise line) is five star and for the record even 30 yrs ago the MDR was not 5 stars. It was a much better experience than it is today in terms of quality and service but it takes more than cloth napkins and white gloves to earn a Michelin star.
Did you notice they took down our posts from the previous page?

Keep in mind that many (if not most) women think that men look especially handsome in a tux. Then choose accordingly.

And keep in mind that many(if not most)men hate, and are uncomfortable in a tux.

Even at the current discounted drink package price of $44/day/person its going to run you $616 for a 7 day cruise.
When we don't get the drink package we usually take 2 bottles or wine on board (allowed), sometimes we inadvertently take another bottle of two. They rarely check if you carry it on board in two separate bags.
Typically we will have a glass of wine before dinner and/or take/carry a glass to dinner with us. Sometimes we will have a scotch/bourbon before dinner but rarely drink during the day or after dinner. Maybe an occasional beer. Our bar bill usually runs us at the most around $400, though we've done it for as little as $200.
I've heard of people taking those little airline bottles of booze on board for an occasional drink since they are undetectable or something called rum runners but I don't really know anything about that.
While we enjoy specialty coffee, we can get by with the regular stuff for a week and orange and other juices is available in Windjammer just about all the time. I don't drink sweet drinks at all anyway so pop and juice are nothing to me. In fact we have a couple of unopened mugs/cups from our last cruise where we got the drink package. It was an anniversary cruise so we splurged and bought the package. We have another cruise coming up in April where we are not buying the package.
I will say that if you do get the drink package you will drink a lot more than you usually do. It's easy to overdo it.
Those rum runners get great reviews. You might want to look into them.

Hi,
Which companies have close car rental locations with free shuttle? Does anyone know if National has a location or only Budget?
Thank you.Budget was my pick

Most seem to have a $6 minimum. That can be $5 bet on the hand, plus a $1 side bet, or $6 on the hand.
Be advised, with the 6 to 5 payout for blackjack, the proper payout for a $6 bet is $7.20, and they only pay $7. So they are paying out 7 to 6.
Should be paying 3/2 or $7.50

our last cruise I did not pack any sportcoat, suit, or ties. It was WONDERFUL. I had less to pack, and I didn't have to change after dinner. Formal nights for me were dress shirt, dress pants, and shoes. Perfect. About 30% of the men were dressed this way (business casual). So much more comfortable for me. Will never wear a jacket/tie again on a cruise.
You've said it all. Nice and comfortable.

I mostly skip it now, only do it with family who really want it since every one over 21 in the cabin must get it.
Between the BOGO beer/wine coupon I use on day one and Diamond drinks it's easy to go without. Drinks are much cheaper in port so it's easy to save significantly by not getting it.
What you said plus rum runners make it all good.

I could care less who the cruise director is. He / she has a negligible impact on my overall cruise experience.
I think your attiude would be different if you were ever lucky enough to experience Richard Spacey.
He's now with Celebrity.

I was not able to get down to Tampa for my cruise today due to weather. Is it better if I cancel or no show? I don't want to screw my roommate over by canceling, I believe I have heard she would be charged the solo cruiser rate if I cancel? I also purchased the drink package. What is the best way to recoup anything? I know I'm basically sol at this point.

I'd be happy if they would just ditch 70's night and maybe consider moving to something more recent (like at least 80's night?).
NO NO
