Hi,
I'm just a tad confused. 😊 Did you GET bumped from your Cabin? If so, was it to a regular Interior? When I booked, the gal on the phone, didn't mention this even being a possibility. I looked at the Deck Plans and my cabin isn't tagged as 'Accessible'. I'm a Solo traveler as well.

No, I was not bumped.my PVP informed me when I got the cabin that if it were needed for a handicapped person I could be mumped. Happily it never happened.

They book up quickly. If you do not see one call your PVP.Many time there will be some available which are handicap accessable. IF you book one of these you may be bumped if it is needed.I did this twice and got bumped neither time,

Have not seen a singles supplement in many years. When i first started they did have them on selected cruises. Think they stopped about 9 years ago.

In my experience most of the ships are similar in both. Occasionally something unusual may happen.Service on all 27 of my cruises has always been excellent. Food in MDR is most often very good. Have found that Lido has dropped in quality on most ships. Deli has become the same on Lido.

You do not need a birth certificate if you have a passport card. But as last person said if you should need to fly home for some reason it will not be accepted.

Yes fareviewer made it too easy for customer to check fare and get a better price. It went the way of pens in your stateroom.

How about the free space they took away, which free space was this? Look, if you did not like your cruise on the Sunrise, that is fine, post a review or start s thread on the topic. This thread is not even about the Sunrise.

Huh, we were on her in July and had the largest number of guests to date, certainly over the stated capacity for lower berths by couple hundred, and there were none, read that as zero , less than 1 standing. Show me the pics. You did not say had a problem, you said people had to stand.
yes people had to stand. Show me your pictures first. If they did not have to stand they just gave up and stayed in their ccabin

that is amusing to me. I have sailed on the victory, and just disembarked the Sunrise today. I have experience on both these ships. I never had to stand, and haven’t found these ships crowded.I just got off the Sunrise and many people were standing often. Not of course at 7am or 3 pm

The Radiance will come out in the springtime as they make her over from the Victory. She will be the third and final ship of this class that has been totally redone. We have sailed on both the other ships and will be on the Radiance for her TA to New York this coming June. As mentioned, they are adding some cabins, but we found the other two ships no more crowded than any other ships, we also found that most who speak negatively have not been on any of them (go figure). She will be completely redone when she comes out and will have some unique things that other Carnival ships have. We are very much looking forward to sailing on her.
If it follows suit with the Sunrise they will add more rooms taking away common area and ruin a perfectly good ship. The Sunrise does not come even close to the Sunshine. Anyone sailing the Sunrise you get exactly what you ask for. Standing up to eat.

Never been on the Sensation, but stay away from the Sunrise. Got back Sunday from 7day to New England and Canada. Ship is overcrowded. Not enough seating in Lido. I hada free upgrade to Suite from a interior and would not return on the Sunrise.

Just curious any changes of the platinum gift for the month of October? or still Lanyards?
Thanks in advance
Still the worthless lanyard on the Sunrise last week. Cheapest piece of garbage I have seen. Was not nearly as nice of those they sell in the gift store.

Closed at 930 last week on Sunrise.

Used the Park ,stay and cruise last week. The shuttle was supposed to go to Manhattan but they took us to Brooklyn. Every thing went smoothly. Paid 255 for cruise room and shuttle.

Can anyone tell me what type of safe the Sunrise haas. Is it digital or do you have to swipe a card.

What are they charging now?
If you are going in the next month or so the charge for Park and cruise is higher because cruises are leaving from Brooklyn until Sunrise leaves instead of Manhattan.
-
They could bump you, chances are usually slim because they would have the room as booked and unless a specific group came and asked for a room and none others were there you probably would not be bumped. I have been in rooms for four as a single and with one other.
