  1. On the Vista in April and we were able to use Google Duo for video/calls as Wifi calling didn't work. My wife is an iPhone user and was able to do iMessage and Facetime and I android so I did Google Duo (which also works on iPhone). We had the premium plan if that helps.
  2. We asked on our cruise in April about camp for our 5YO in July and they told us the 5yo are just going with the older group if there are not enough of them to make up their own group. (This was Vista). When I checked in it allowed me to register him camp so I assume they are offering something.
  3. I just went through this with one of my adult children. Carnival told me over the phone they need something to show the name change (in our case we had the court order already so that was enough to change the name). So if you don't have a legal document (i.e. court order) it won't work. For additional information they had a VIFP number and had to have that updated/changed as well to match.
  4. Sorry to hop on late, but we have our first cruise with kids coming up July 2. So are you saying the times are different than what they list in the docs: Sea Days Scheduled complimentary programming activities run from 10:00am-5:00pm and 7:00pm-10:00pm followed by Night Owls Port Days Supervised complimentary programming Kids' Choice begins from port arrival until 12:00pm; At 12:00pm Kids' Only Lunch is offered, scheduled activities resume at 1:00pm until 10:00pm followed by Night Owls. There may be family programming offered in between 4:00pm-6:00pm (time/activity may vary) Evenings Night Owls is offered each evening from 10:00pm-1:00am in Camp Ocean for a fee ($7.50 USD per hour plus an 18% service charge, per child) Offerings include: movies, games, toys and snacks Owls Jams - on select evenings of the cruise we have additional parties for a fee ($17.00 USD per party plus an 18% service charge, per child) Camp Ocean (6-8 Years) Stingrays: Things to Know | Carnival Cruise Line I know the group here skews towards a older demographic but I am interested if those with kids that have done the camp ocean piece recently had kids that enjoy it. We wouldn't plan on leaving kids all day long (as the point of a family vacation is to do thing together) but I figured my younger kids would enjoy the ocean times (usually in the evening) opposed to things like shows. We are planning on early dining (6PM) then we would probably see if the younger kids wanted to go play at camp ocean while we enjoy the show.
  5. On the Vista in April and yes, I can confirm that outside it starts with one line then splits to Early and On time and then when you get inside there is a separate "check in/document section" for Suites/Diamond Platinum. We were in a suite and after getting through the outside line and verifly lines (about 10 minutes) we went right to check in for suites and right on the boat.
  6. I was on the Vista on 4/23 and they had Buble (sugar free sparkling water). I had to usually ask for it to be gotten out of the back but they had them. Not sure on mixes in Alcohol as I don't drink but I did enjoy those better than the Diet Pepsi/Pepsi Zero Sugar
