  1. I'm wondering if you had a menu to choose from? I, also have to consider my salt intake and DH does not eat anything raw (and maybe even rare) With some information, we can make this work for us.

We went to the chefs Table dining area and looked at the menus before booking as some were not to my husbands liking. Once we settled on a menu, then we booked it with no problem at all.

BTW He loved the food in the main dining room ...

  2. I an also Celiac. I was on the Viking Star for the transatlantic..I had a menu every morning for that night's dinner. Had a wonderful waiter that was with me the entire cruise and he took care of my special needs where ever I was. (Hi eric) so I was very happy with Viking Ocean. I did expect it would be as great as the river cruise and after the first missteps, everything went smoothly thanks to Eric.

  3. I am probably the first one back from the first Viking Ocean EBTA from San Juan to Barcelona.

The mix and mingle was held on the second day in the upstairs part of the explorer lounge. Invitation was a note card in a nice envelope on the door portion for notes.

Viking had wine, champagne and soda plus several different types of passed items on a tray. the ships officers were there and introduced themselves.

    A very nice event.
