I found some further links on the Panama forum you suggested. It’s always interesting where you end up following the labyrinth of links!

I have searched the boards for information pertaining especially to Puerto Quetzel Guatemala, Corinto Nicaragua, Puerto Caldera Costa Rica on our Panama trip since these will be new to us. We do not want to do shore excursions per se, but reading up on some of these places, we may need to get transportation into a nearby town since the port itself may be rather industrial to explore. For example..to Antigua Guatemala. We are booked on the Norwegian Sun this October. We have joined the roll call and there has been a suggestion of private tours. Are the tours through NCL on a bus or in a van? I would really appreciate input from people who have been in these ports and may have taken a bus or van to explore away from the port itself. Thanks so much!

Thanks to everyone for your input. Exactly what we were looking for. We don’t have latitudes perks so we will fork out the $$ lol. We will likely choose a sea day during which to experience the tour . As suggested, it is probably something we would only do once, but it sounds interesting and informative. Appreciate you sharing your opinions!

I’m trying to find feedback on this tour on the Norwegian Sun. If anyone has recently done this tour, I would appreciate your comments. This is listed under entertainment and therefore isn’t eligible for any excursion credits. It will cost C$117 per person. Thanks for any information!

I guess I didn’t understand how this works. You have purchased these certificates on cruises and banked them into your accounts. Is that the only way to get CruiseNext certificates? I am confusing these with my Cruisefirst deposit my PCC applied when I signed on. So many tips and tricks to learn!

Yes, I can get the same benefits plus free gratuities…we didn’t book airfare through NCL.

Because once we booked, all communication with our PCC ceased. Other Perks are available through other agents.

Once you have booked through a PCC can you transfer your reservation to a TA not with NCL?

Sorry if I am hijacking someone else’s post, but I’m just rejoining CC because I’m researching a cruise from Seattle to Florida. My question relates to flights so here goes: The cruise ends in Fort Lauderdale, where we want to stay rather than take the return flight to Seattle. Are we able to do this? Can we purchase one way flights through NCL? Or should we book our own? The price through NCL looks pretty good! Thanks for any advice based on your experiences.
