I love Martinique!
-
The answer is simple, follow the rules and you don't have to worry about him getting carded.
It's a comedy show not an opium den, lighten up a little!
-
Always afraid I am going to miss an early flight. So don'y usually fly back home till 3pm or so. So a late lunch at the airport is fine for me. By the time we get home it's straight to bed.
-
No Services on Carnival .
-
MCO is headache worst lines of almost any airport I have been to. I have family that live there and fly often I absolutely hate it.
-
I have never seen them card at the Comedy Shows. He will be fine
-
Now that they have the times slots for your check in it has never taken me more than 1/2 hour to get on the ship what is the point of FTTF? Waste of Money

Carnival Mirage

I made a mistake I meant Splendor i don't know what i was thinking
-
How does everyone feel about Splendor? I am not a big fan. And of the opinion that not many where as it is the only ship in it's class.
The pool area seems so claustrophobic with it''s two story high walls so tight around you . Different than on any other carnival ship.
Also they lay out is just a mess compared to other cruise ships. And it is lacking some of my favorite Carnival upgrades like Guys's etc.
What does any one else think?

Been on numerous Fantasy class ships, never had a line for anything....Comedy show you would walk in 5-10 mins prior to showtime and still plenty of seats
Fantasy Class Ships are the best in my opinion. No waits no lines good service. Fewer people! Just enough to do.

I thought they were doing Lobster on 7 day cruises! Are there any they do it on now? I thought it was just 5 or less they stopped.
-
It probably coincides with the musical numbers in the Main Show Room.
-
Do they have Blue Cheese as a topping I can't remember. This should def be an option of not!
-
I always prefer set late dining. Just me though. I like to know when and where and who I will be dining with each night.
-
went on breeze last year and loved guy's. We had a lido balcony so i could grab one and be enjoying my lunch on the balcony in less than 5 minutes.
Going on the dream this year and will miss it.:(
the dream has guys!

I have been on MANY CARNIVAL CRUISES and ONE RCC obviously for me Carnival Wins in most categories for me. Keep in mind I was not on one of the newer oasis class Royal ships. I was on the second newest class. ( Sorry can't remember their name)
STATEROOMS- Carnival Wins. Carnival has larger staterooms than any other line I have been on. (except DISNEY) . They also to me just seem to have cleaner lines, and appear newer even on older ships.
MDR- Subjective but to me Carnival Wins. Royal food seems to me bland and tasteless. The staples seemed to be Chicken Cordenbleu and apple pie. I can get that at a Cracker Barrel at home. And desserts are far better on Carnival. That melting cake can never be repeated. I will say I loved the Creme Brule on RCL.
BUFFET/POOL FOOD- Carnival again wins. The windjammer was not that great and offered the same food every day. Carnival buffet seems to rotate. Also RCL has no poolside grill etc. I really missed other free options on the lido such as Guys and Blue Iguana and Pizza Pirate on Carnival.
NOTE: I will say even though it was a fee I loved Johnny Rockets on RCL. (Better than Guys shhh)
SHOWS: This is where RCL wins. I never really LOVE the shows on Carnival.. kinda like a high school show choir; it was good but nothing spectacular. Royal shows are really top quality.
Lounges/Bars- Carnival wins here as well. Comedy shows are much better on carnival. As are just about every activity in any of Carnivals aft lounges.
LATE NIGHT FOOD- Carnival wins with Pizza Pirate. Coudln't find any late night food on Royal.
Ships- Royal wins. They are just a but more classy than most Carnival Ships. But that doesn't draw me back. I'll take everything I love about Carnival, and put up with the GAUDY decor.
just a few reasons why for me CARNIVAL WINS over Royal

We are scheduled to see it tonight. We will be a no show.
Once was enough. Only made it to intermission the first time.
I am just not sophisticated enough for this show.

It's not you, I am a regular theater goer and I hate CATS.. no one likes it on land or see. It was George Bush's favorite musical if that tells you anythingo of it's level of sophistication.

I would take it love being close to the lido. The deck above you isn't that busy so you won't have much noise/chairs moving in the morning. Maybe a little pressure wash but that's it.
Now if you were staying on deck 8 I would say no. You are going to get all that LIDO deck noise in the morning. THAT WILL BE LOUD.

I think a tipsy me might be trying some Penne AL Forno at 1 am LOL
-
Pocket or If I have no pockets just carry it. I wouldn't be caught dead in a lanyard. Just me through LOL
-
SUNSHINE I haven't sailed her but she is on my list. That serenity deck is calling my name
-
I have been wanting to go on Sunshine for so long! Trying to book on her; but Charleston port is very inconvenient for North Easterners Such expensive flights. Wish she would move to Florida.

I always see carnival gift cards in the local supermarket
Cruises to Nowhere
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
I miss cruises to nowhere. I love just being one the ship. The cruise lines should flag one ship under USA so they can still offer this!
