I called to upgrade this morning and was charged $13.50 per day plus the service charge for a total of $111.51 for a 7 day cruise.  According to the Celebrity Rep that was $15/day -  10% Classic/Select upgrade discount. I didnt' upgrade DH's package as he usually has one alcohol drink a day and the rest is sodas and coffee.

Last cruise I just had the classic and paid for the difference for the occasional upgraded drink.    I was on the fence for this cruise but decided to upgrade really for the premium non-alcoholic drinks since I missed having sparkling water and Vitamin water and smoothies.  Still not sure if that was worth $16 per day but  it has been a stressful year so also plan on enjoying several martinis.

so we can do one person only in the stateroom? hubby won't want it but I will.

I was skeptical when they announced they were using one of the existing M-Class spa/gym locker rooms and create two separate locker rooms but after boarding the Summit I was pleasantly surprised how they got everything in it.  Yes the sauna is now 1/3 the size of the original one but it's still functional.

we are not elite or spa or retreat cabin.  I love the steam and sauna .  not liking heated couches, like single chairs.  so should I pay for Persian gardens.

We have a cruise in May, 2023 that starts in Cape Liberty and stops in Martha’s Vineyard, Newport RI, Charleston and goes to BERMUDA on Day 6 of the cruise for 2 days and then back to Cape Liberty.  Wonder if Bermuda will have loosened the requirements by then or else our itinerary will probably undergo a change, too.

taking my inlaws to Bermuda next summer.I HOPE it loosens up by then.

Good you know about dropping it off at the terminal, and I thought I made it clear you could take your carry on to your SR as soon as you boarded and drop it off then.

    Very handy

    den

good to know.  FIL has Parkinson's and the more we can bring to the room and or drop off at terminal the better. last cruise was Mardi Gras without the inlaws in December.  didn't have a lot of carry on luggage.

You mean at the terminal or after boarding?

You can check your suitcases at the terminal with a porter and not go aboard immediately. For onboard carry-on, when you get onboard you can go directly to your SR and drop off your luggage there and head out. Later, they will announce when SRs are fully open.

    Den

I always drop off the big bags at the terminal but say a carry on- can we drop off in room? carnival you have to wait till like 2pm to drop off your bags.

There are not that many choices on the vegetarian menu however what they had looked good.  We ordered vegetarian many times.

great 14 day menus.  Glad to see many cruise lines are doing more vegetarian.
