I was skeptical when they announced they were using one of the existing M-Class spa/gym locker rooms and create two separate locker rooms but after boarding the Summit I was pleasantly surprised how they got everything in it. Yes the sauna is now 1/3 the size of the original one but it's still functional.
we are not elite or spa or retreat cabin. I love the steam and sauna . not liking heated couches, like single chairs. so should I pay for Persian gardens.
-
so it is an upcharge to use the Persian gardens. gonna call celebrity to get it for hubby and I. It is my 50th birthday cruise.
-
yeah just love salt rooms/saunas and steam rooms. was hoping not to pay extra for those.

Daily or weekly passes are usually available for purchase in the cruise planner.
how early can you book? once final payment?
-
we are not aqua class but want to use the steam/salt/ saunas- is that possible? on CCL you can get daily passes. last sailed in 2010 on summit.
-
so without being elite the upgrade is a lot more? hmmm
-
only sailed celebrity once so it would be 10% to upgrade to premium . not worth it for a few martinis in a port heavy trip to bermuda
-
just want a nice rose and simple frozen drinks...
-
im only paying the difference (or planning to next summer) for the martinis . the rest I am fine with the classic package.
-
just as I want some martinis and willing to pay the upcharge for a drink or two

we did CCL Mardi Gras this past NYE 22'
It was a blast. my two college kids loved it as well. so cool to say you were on the boat in the middle of the water when the "ball" drops.

We have a cruise in May, 2023 that starts in Cape Liberty and stops in Martha’s Vineyard, Newport RI, Charleston and goes to BERMUDA on Day 6 of the cruise for 2 days and then back to Cape Liberty. Wonder if Bermuda will have loosened the requirements by then or else our itinerary will probably undergo a change, too.
taking my inlaws to Bermuda next summer.I HOPE it loosens up by then.

Good you know about dropping it off at the terminal, and I thought I made it clear you could take your carry on to your SR as soon as you boarded and drop it off then.
Very handy

good to know. FIL has Parkinson's and the more we can bring to the room and or drop off at terminal the better. last cruise was Mardi Gras without the inlaws in December. didn't have a lot of carry on luggage.

You mean at the terminal or after boarding?
You can check your suitcases at the terminal with a porter and not go aboard immediately. For onboard carry-on, when you get onboard you can go directly to your SR and drop off your luggage there and head out. Later, they will announce when SRs are fully open.

I always drop off the big bags at the terminal but say a carry on- can we drop off in room? carnival you have to wait till like 2pm to drop off your bags.
-
It has been over 10 years since we sailed the Summit- how early can you drop your bags?

There are not that many choices on the vegetarian menu however what they had looked good. We ordered vegetarian many times.
great 14 day menus. Glad to see many cruise lines are doing more vegetarian.
-
good to know . I like my fancy coffee but only have the classic package.
-
so sale now to upgrade Bev package?
-
we are not aqua class. have not sailed on celebrity in over 10 years. we are vegetarians. wonder what the menu will be for us in the MDR. the veg menu on carnival is the same daily.
