Have a great cruise and I will be reading your blog as neighbours in our street are also on board…just like to thank you for “the big tip” about using the baytree restaurant for breakfast…just back from the Xmas cruise on Ventura it worked perfect and we had a lovely time the food was very very good too.

Just been monitoring Ventura return back to Southampton as we are on the 12 night canary cruise,and it’s diverted to just off the coast of Portugal and was just thinking has anyone heard anything as to why.thanks

Noticed Arvia changed course last night according to cruise mapper,she diverted to just off the coast to portimao around midnight for some reason.Back on course this morning.!

Morning everyone,we are on Arvia first two weeks in may and we are thinking of going on our first ever Christmas cruise on Ventura.my question is can I use my onboard spend we have from Arvia to book the Ventura Christmas cruise while onboard..

Yes I will be buying tickets too,it’s just I haven’t heard of this system to have the chance of watching him…totally agree with it though..

Just seen the web site today Gary Barlow is on our Arvia cruise first two weeks in may…to have a chance to see him you have to purchase a ticket for £10 which goes into a draw which if drawn out you get to see him.whatever next.!

Hi,what’s the rules for taking drinks onboard Cunard.I’m sure it states you can take wine/champagne onboard,can you take a bottle each with you at the start of the cruise.!

Hi, we are back with Cunard and on Queen Victoria very shortly,our last 3/4 cruises have been with P&o and we do love having lunch in the main dining room every day.My question is will QV main dining room be open everyday.!!

Yes we were disappointed too but I do like Cartagena..let’s hope you make it on QM2 next june.

Just received an email to say our 23 sept cruise on Queen Victoria has had the Marseille stop changed to Cartagena ,this would be our 3rd visit there and we’ve never been to Marseille but that’s the way it goes.

Price change update.queen Victoria price dropped back to £999 saver today,rang 2 Travel Agents and both said sorry it’s sold out we should have taken it down.!! I then rang Cunard and was told it was sold out….I pointed out but you are selling two 7 day cruises now instead of the 14.! Well this lovely said just one moment and offered me the 14 night for the price that was offered a couple of weeks ago..so I’m very happy now..

Hi yes it was for an inside,select is exactly the same as saver except for coach travel and other things so not sure if you can sell out of saver…fingers crossed it may appear and I won’t hesitate…

Hi,have been watching price for queen Victoria for sept 23rd for 14 nights,price hovering around £920 for saver price but to my horror it’s jumped to £1400 with select price only…I suppose I should have booked it but is this normal practice and do we think it will go back to allowing the saver price to be booked..
