  1. We booked our cruise leaving 12/26 with a casino offer, which was our first time doing so. It said that it includes a voucher for casino chips and that would be mailed to us. Does anyone know how soon before the cruise you usually receive this? We booked in early October and haven't received it yet. I appreciate the help!

  2. I found it very safe. Drs Cave regulates who sells there. We were never approached to buy anything actually, though there was one man making bracelets very close to us. He would walk around with them but not approach anyone. I ended up getting 2 for my girls because I could tell they were well made and I appreciated that he let you come to him. I did see just one other guy closer to the ocean selling shells but again was never approached. We had our girls there age 4&6 and felt completely safe.

I will also say when you get a taxi there at the port they are van style, have a driver and a guide and very safe. They do try to get you to go on an island tour or shopping as well as the beach, but when we said we just wanted to go straight to doctors cave they complied. We paid up front for the round trip and the guide was right where she said she would be to meet us for the trip back. I'm sure you can pay one way and then catch another cab back, but with the kids with us we wanted to be sure our return trip was lined up. We were very happy with the taxi service inside the port!

  3. Yes there is a snorkel lagoon you can swim in and also a huge pool area! The water in the lagoon was pretty clear though I didn't see too much. But enough to get a few underwater camera shots of some fish. The pool area is gorgeous with a slide and waterfall. My kids loved it. And as for the touch tanks of course you put your hands in them that's kind of the point! My girls touched and held turtles and also got in a bigger walk in tank with the turtles and held them there too. The park has a lot of hand washing stations around with signs to wash your hands after touching the turtles. So I don't think there's any "danger" lol! We had a great day there, my girls still talk about it!

  4. I will also highly recommend Crescencio! You can find him on FB as black hat Cozumel. We toured the island with him earlier this year and he was amazing! We went to punta morena and some other stops on the east side. Amazing! He even had sand toys for our kids. I can't recommend him enough!!

  5. We did the turtle farm on our own. You can get tickets online ahead of time and save some. They will refund them if your ship does not dock. We caught a taxi there and took the bus back. It was a great day and plenty to do there! I will say allow extra time for the ride back as traffic gets worse. We really enjoyed the turtle farm adults and kids!

  6. We took the water taxi to Caye Caulker and loved it! Not really a sandy beach but a nice area at "the split" to relax and get in the water. My kids did manage to find sand deep enough to play in!

  7. I thought the Belikin was good and I think of myself as kind of a beer snob. Then again sitting at the beach bar on Caye Caulker I probably could have been drinking anything and been happy! :)

  8. My kids are 5 & 7 and I bring their puddle jumpers to use in the pool and at the beach. My older one is a good swimmer and I still make her wear it in the ship pool. It just gets crowded and only takes a second for something to happen! But long story short yes they are allowed on ship. :)

  9. My girls are 4 & 6 and when we were on the Dream in March they loved dancing in the Ocean Plaza area. We went there almost every night before dinner and they had live music. Half the time my girls were the only ones out dancing! There is also a lot of music in the atrium area as well.

As for camp yes they do have the televisions outside the rooms. My girls loved camp on the Dream. The camp staff on that ship is great!

    Enjoy your cruise!
