  1. There is a pub with a type of sport's theme between the movie cinema theater and the casino on deck six. You may find what you want there.
  2. I put mine on in the dark one time....Bucky called me "Bucky" until I took his pin off. 😄 😄
  3. Great video!! A bit dizzy like, but pretty cool! And love the new paint job...sweet!

    Food

LOL...what is it they say...I eat to live. Not live to eat. 😄 Since we indeed need sustenance to live on the cruise ship...we will need to partake. 😉 All those "adult beverages" kind of help it go down a bit better though!
  5. I guess they could try...trouble is you would be wearing someone else's name on your chest. 😄
  6. OK...I won't post the You tube video then? 😄 😄

    Food

It's still all "mass produced" food like a hotel, large restaurant, or dare I say....(gasp) nursing home. 🤭 After 20 years with RCI, and now having switched to Viking (thankfully!!) I can definitely say the food we eat on the ship has improved. 😉 Though if it is superior food I want...I will cook it myself. 😄
  8. Ditto for us as well. Coffee maker, kettle...all stashed away. Also my usual routine. I will be up before "Mr. Sleepy Head"....doing a morning walk, followed by a foray to the coffee area with our travel mugs. Always filling with paper cup, and then into the mugs. Easier to bring back to the cabin, without making a mess in the hallway...or scorched hands. 😄 ☕
  9. LOL...that was not my post you were quoting...but cute. 😉 I have no use for a kettle, and in fact when I get one, I will stash it out of the way to make more room on the counter.
  10. That's good! Enjoy your breakfast in there, one of our favorite perks. 🥰 Funny thing was the really terrible waiter we had on Jewel at that time, we saw on Serenade during the 1st quarter WC. Luckily he was not assigned to our table. 😉
  11. Sorry about the rain, but your narration and pictures were great! 🥰 How was the service in Chops for breakfast? When Jewel was doing her 6/8 runs out of PC it was terrible. Wonderful on all the other ships...but Jewel could not get it together during our time. 😞
  12. Great review and pics so far, my friend. Wonderful job! Awwww...not one, but two beloved Viking river ships (they do love to raft onto each other). Loved the 3 weeks we did on Vidar last year. 🙂
  13. Don't feel too bad. Reboarding Serenade in July, 62 nights.....only one bottle per person allowed to bring on during embarkation. Though the UDP they give us as benefit....definitely makes that problem go away. 😄
  14. LOL...foraging for food on a cruise ship....least of my worries. 😄
  15. LOL....but...🤢 Then again the open air markets in Europe would put any USDA agent into a meltdown. 😮
  16. Bubba and the six beers without bathroom break...toddler in the hot tub with "fecal t-bag"?
  17. LOL...during the first quarter of the WC for breakfast the first two months...we called them the "donut pushers" 😄 They kept trying to temp us...but we resisted. Barely. 😉 BTW...your bro loves those "snails". He always orders them without the slice of garlic bread....like the Caesar salad sans croutons. Me...I love the garlic toast! 😋
  18. I like it better when they used to walk around with the bread selection. Point and be served only what you wanted. Me....we refuse the bread basket. Already have too much food served at dinner and lunch! 😮
  19. Enjoy! And Cheers back at 'cha! 🙂
  20. So funny how so many of the tour boats love to blare that song up loud...especially when getting back, sailing next to the ship. 😉 Of course those Rum drinks might have something to do with it as well. 🍹
  21. I love how we are all so different. What works for one, does not work for others. Me, I never carry a purse around on a cruise ship, and in fact rarely carry one when going ashore, except for a tiny cross body bag...and only if I want to carry my phone ashore. All of my pants, (dress slacks and capris) I buy with pockets. Cargo pants capris for me is the best for going ashore. My dress slacks have back pockets and that is where my sea pass card is, with cash tips in the other pocket. After 40 years of cruising...and we do tend to cruise a lot 😉 ...I have never missed having a purse with me at any time.
  22. Kind of like Neil Diamond and "So good...so good...so good"!! 😄
  23. Ahhh...sure wish we were sailing with you two again. 🙂
  24. Agree...and thanks for being a real parent. Wish they were all like you! Alas...the ones you are referring to are not actual "parents"....they are simply "breeders". 🫤
  25. This Pinnie does not feel forced to enter and hang out in the Crown Lounge. We usually avoid it...too many politics and not worth the crowd and seat saving. Coffee in the morning yes (though still would have to get there very early). But cocktail hour...umm..no.... if it is crowded. Though there is one D+ couple that we happily would visit with in there...and the "Dog" knows who he is. 😄 Since we have to use our vouchers in there anyway....we enjoy "bar hopping" around the ship to use them. We like "getting out and about" and it works for us. 😉
