Am not disagreeing with you...so no trusting required. 😉 I would never consider cruising with theme park Disney cruise line...for the reasons you mentioned, as I totally agree. I also am not a fan of RCI's new theme park mega ships.....for the same reason. Viking is now getting most of our bookings, and most of our cruising dollars.

Just off Allure this morning. No email letter at all pertaining to access before we boarded...but we did have it. Had to make reservations each day for dinner in CK...but no problem. Could not book anything above a JS when we booked months ago, as ship was full, even with checking daily until sail date. There were only 29 of us, so the top 30 did not apply. Not sure if we had access to Chops for breakfast as we never got any kind of letter from the LA on access.

Got another (different this time) form letter from American Queen...telling me I have not submitted my claim forms yet. Ummm...have done it many times now already, both online and in the mail. The usual run around...no results of course.

Remember during Covid era...all the menus were on scan code. 🙂

Simple solution for me. I "washy washy" on the way in. Pick and choose at the endless buffet, then head back to one of the hand stations for a re-sanitize. I have seen others with little bottles of the stuff, but it is so simple just to hit one of those machines before you sit down to pick up that French Fry. 😉 😄

LOL...we had one of those on Jewel one night. He got into it with each server each night, and even his wife did not want to sit with him any longer. Security and an officer finally came by to talk to him...he waved them off and gruffly said "I am Diamond...don't bother me". It was sooo hard to keep from laughing out loud. When they finally got him to leave...everyone around the area (including Bucky and I) broke out into a cheer. 😄

Thanks...and totally agree! Those Pinnies are the same at any level. Nice people are nice no matter what loyalty level they happen to be at. Pinnies are simply regular peeps that happen to like to cruise...a lot! If they are jerks...they were jerks as a Gold, Platinum...etc. as well. 😉

LOL...your bro loves to decorate his stuffed animals (his traveling pets) with all the pins. Though we never received the Emerald pins, and I have no idea what happened to our gold and Platinum pins. He uses the various Diamond and D+ pins though on them.

Boarding the Allure this morning for a very rare short cruise for us. Just wanted to meet her before she left PC, as we have never been on board that ship. . Booked months ago and could not get anything over a JS cabin, even with checking every day. Plus just now received my denial on my Royal UP bid. Oh well, it's a nice "hump out" JS on deck 10 anyway. AS to this thread...it will be curious if we are allowed (as Pinnies) into the Suite's Lounge. Will try for perhaps one night in Coastal Kitchen. Will be fun to "bar hop" around the ship anyway. 😉 As far as I know the ship is totally booked up.
