MERI is heading soon to Turku, arriving on friday morning. It's now in Gdansk, but before that it was in Klaipeda, and that could mean it might be time for the bow (but just guessing).
My drone broke two weeks ago (motors stopped working) and it's still heading to the service center (nearly 2 weeks already and still not arrived in the Netherlands where they repair them). I decided to order a new drone, I hope to get it within 1-2 weeks when they get them in stock. It will take ages before I get my old one back if just transporting takes that long.
Thank you for the update on the (possible) Icon of the Seas bow!
Sorry to hear about your drone. Glad that you are able to get a new one, & of course thank you so much for updating us on the Icon of the Seas build with your great images.

I hope that we get to see the stern section with the Icon name again, perhaps completed and ready to install. There was a night time photo a while ago from one of the rear entrances. Anything like that again?

I think that's not a current pic. The stuff we saw from over the weekend had the bow thruster section in place, while it's not there in this pic. Might just have been from last week though.
I believe that the bow thruster section is there, but not visible in the photo.

It could be tucked away in a corner of the shipyard where it cannot be seen. 🙂 It would be awesome if the name was already on the lower stern. Remember this photo @Lloyd555?

My co-worker said that she saw a post with a photo mentioning the Icon in LinkedIn, but apparently it is gone now. Did anyone happen to see it? Not sure if the photo had the Icon in it. Just curious.

That block in the top right corner with the big white frame is somehow associated with some of the block photos shared by @Panda Monium and a similar installed on the Starboard side recently. This one though from at least this photo and angle seems low. Could also be that the shot is far away.
Those are the same block in both photos, installed on the port side. Although there looks like there is a frame on both sides, I wonder if these areas will be symmetrical.

@Panda Monium Thanks for sharing these photos. Interring block with that framing again. Whatever it is, please not a Magic Carpet 😀.
Let's hope that it's for framing cabins or a window just for the heck of it.

This is such an odd block with that slanted spatula-like piece. It must belong somewhere at the top of the ship. Maybe part of the Solarium?

What is it that some people have said - That the Icon class going to look like the Oasis class with some new changes and features (mostly) inside?
I'm keeping an eye out all the new blocks and pieces to come in order to see if they give a better idea of the overall look.😁
Besides the changed bow, a twist maybe to the exterior appearance?
This appeals to me.

Good observation.
Thank you. 🙂
@Lloyd555 Have you identified any of the pieces and blocks? You think you know where they go on the ship?

I can just imagine a mesmerizing, peaceful, relaxing infinity pool at the stern of the ship, tuning out the din around me and being able to take in the scenic view of the ocean or port with a nice drink. Yup.
Okay... why are you phrasing it like this? 🤨

They could call either one the inaugural or even both - very unlikely the TA would be called that. Then, there's the maiden, though they probably can't name two of them that.
Do they name it as soon as itineraries come out? I want to book as soon as they do!

It's been a long while since I have sailed on an inaugural cruise and would like to be on the one for Icon of the Seas. Which cruise will be the inaugural one?
Will it be one of the first few that apparently may take place out of Southampton? The transatlantic from Southampton? Or the first cruise from Miami?
What does Royal usually do?

Is that white signboard in the lower center of the picture the installation instructions for all of those blocks?
No.
I am thinking that it is a map of the shipyard.

I won't even bother to ask how you managed to find these photos. 😁
That certainly looks like a possibility!
