  1. It may be a combination of Celebrity, older RCCL cruises, casino stuff, who knows but when I log into my RCCL account it shows Diamond Plus :) We cruised a lot when we were kids and I have continued the trend. Just been sticking with Celebrity lately. Hubby is excited about this trip though, he likes to stay very busy and obviously the activities and stuff to do far outweighs Celebrity.

  2. So I just yesterday booked a fairly last minute trip on July 29th on Anthem to celebrate my 40th bday on the 30th of July. I'm actually Diamond Plus on RCCL (due to Celebrity sailings) and haven't been on any of the larger/newer RCCL ships so I have a couple of specific questions...(I feel like a newbie lol)

#1. Apparently I missed my chance to reserve the Northstar or the iFly online? (Too late I guess) Since I am diamond plus will the concierge rep help me with those things onboard?

#2. Does Diamond Plus have separate seating in the shows and a separate full breakfast or just continental?

#3. We are used to Celebrity food (we just spent a week eating in Blu in May) the Ultimate Dining package seems like a pretty good deal, should we take advantage of that or just eat in the 4 main dining areas?

#4. Anything else Anthem specific I should know or do?

    Thanks in advance!

  3. Wow thank you guys so much! As usual a wealth of information here on CC. I've visited Seattle before but my husband has not so these ideas will be perfect. Also thanks for the head's up on that app, I was able to get guides for some of the other cities we are visiting as well.

  4. We are flying in from the East Coast next Thursday and we work in construction so we usually wake up very early at home which equals really waking up early on vacation, esp on the West Coast. We only have one morning in Seattle before our cruise so any ideas of something to do that we could do very early in the morning? I know we can walk the market but most of it's booths don't open til 10am. Any local parks or attractions we could check out early? We won't have a car but are very used to Uber-staying at Marriott Waterfront.

  5. I know this is going to sound a little random but the only excursion we are looking to do on our May Alaska Celebrity trip is the Deadliest Catch one in Ketchikan. I had already reserved tickets through their own website (because it was about $20pp cheaper) but we have $400 in OBC to use (and already have premium drinks, tips, and wifi included in our package.) Is there any disadvantage to booking through the ship instead now that we can use our OBC to pre-book excursions?

    Thanks!

  6. Our next cruise will be our first time in Aqua Class. My hubby is a fairly picky eater but can usually find something on the main dining menu he likes. Are we allowed to order things off the main dining room menu in Blu? I am partial to my shrimp cocktail and escargot myself ;)

  7. Wow this is a great and long thread-I'm sure this has been addressed but we are staying pre-cruise at the Pan Pacific in September and are looking for a more casual but tasty seafood restaurant. We don't mind using public transport and will probably already have passes for the day. We just aren't real fancy folks. It will be a Thursday night-thanks in advance!
