Americans on P&O?

I am a US citizen who would very much like to cruise P&O because of their terrific itineraries and adult-only ships. On one cruise that I took on Dawn Princess several years ago, about 1/3 of the passengers were Brits and they touted P&O's services, etc. On P&O website, the tours/cruises all seem to start with "fly to the USA from London" or similar.

How would I book on P&O from the USA?

Thanks!

Hi Tarheelbelle

P&O for some strange reason don't seem to market themselves in the US very well.

Try sending them an email and asking them where you could get the relevent info, sure they must have some tucked away somewhere.

good luck in your search

P&O still not marketing well in US - but Captain's Circle reps on Princess have assured me that that will be changing, unspecified future date.

I have had good luck getting P&O brochures from their on-line website (don't remember address), and have even received a couple of e-mails from them re "specials".

hi lynn

we were on the Aurora last year and you are correct there are not many americans on that ship.

When you get your price direct from p&o, try an english cruise specialist company, We've used them for the last 2 years and have found them great. Last year our trip on the Millenium was cancelled by celebrity, due to bearing problems. We had booked our flights to Barcellona seperate as i needed oxygen to fly and at the time of booking celebrity couldn't say who they would be using. The flights, oxygen were booked independantly but cruisin got us our money back for everything booked and managed to get 8 of us on another cruise within two days of finding out that we wouldn't be traveling on the Millie.

They have great customer service, but you could log on to their website

http://www.cruisein.co.uk and ask them if they deal with other countries. We once booked a caribean cruise from England with a cruise company in newyork.

Good luck.

Have you heard something about Aurora going adult only.I dont think that would happen.Oriana maybe-by the way our favorite ship is Aurora,Andersons and The Crows nest -great:)

Hi Bay of biscay

No I do not mean that Aurora is adult only!!!! Don't need anymore adult only ships with Artemis and Arcadia. I was just saying that my favourite ship is Aurora. Not going on her for 2 years as we are on QM2 and Oriana this year and the Arcadia summer 2006 (adult only) and I believe it is Aurora doing the Caribbean xmas 2006.

Can't wait for the brochure. Travel agent rang yesterday to say that it goes on sale June 4th and that a P & O representative was going to be on hand in the travel agents to offer advice. Advised travel agent that I could probably tell the representative more about P & O than she could tell me!!!!!!

Thats how it is for me as well.Telling the agent where the cabins are situated and what is on what deck.

I thought the brochures went out on 6 th June for Gold Portunus members and every man for themselves on 7th June.
