Alegeeter Posted April 4, 2018 Author #26 Share Posted April 4, 2018 It is nothing you need to select as an option. It is automatic. Look at the detail of the price and you will see no taxes listed. Except there were taxes listed, which is why I created the thread to ask if anyone else was experiencing the same issue. Some others were so it seems the NCL website was advertising the new promo but their pricing was not updated. It's ok though, NCL worked it out in the end. Maraprince Posted April 5, 2018 #27 Share Posted April 5, 2018 You will need to rebook (if your not past final payment due date)Any perks you had will be lost. Absolutely correct!!!! We are sailing in October and had one price drop of over $50 per person but had to give up strawberries and a bottle of wine to get the price drop. Now, it would actually cost us money (penalty) to "save on the taxes" so it does not make any sense for us to rebook!!!:( However, our TA was able to save us a little over $15 per person on our insurance without any loss of perks. If you have to rebook, it costs you money. So, unless you are saving more than the penalty to rebook, it is not worth it. MARAPRINCE

NCL doesn't charge a penalty to rebook before final payment (or even after normally). Different TAs have different policies. Your TA is charging you a penalty, not NCL.
