Flying Alitalia, transferring in Rome

Hello all you experienced flyers!

If I fly from the US to Rome and transfer to a flight to Naples, where do I go through immigration? I am trying to arrange for transportation from Naples (to Sorrento) but can't really pick a timeframe without knowing if I will be taking time to go through immigration in Naples.

Thanks for all the help!

You will go through immigration and customs in Rome. The Rome to Naples flight is a "domestic" flight and once you get off that flight you can proceed directly to baggage claim (if checking) and your transportation.

Thank you. That makes perfect sense and is so very helpful.

Have a great night!
