balcony cabin 6638 independence of the seas

I was able to upgrade at 15 dollar per person from a promenade view cabin room to a balcony room cabin 6638, (I think that is a hump room)? Is this a good cabin? I have read many people do like a hump cabin. What are your thoughts. Thanks

The hump cabins are great. We have stayed in 6636.

There is no size advantage to hump cabins on this ship, but the "hump" area is coveted because of the convenience of location! Very close to the stair/elevator foyer. Makes coming and going to the cabin so easy!
