Like Mr. Sanchos???

Hey guys!

We are headed on our 5th cruise at the end of September and we’re super excited because it’s all ports we haven’t been to yet: Amber Cove, Grand Turk, St.Thomas, San Juan!

We went to Cozumel last year and went to Mr. Sanchos and it was our favorite!! Does anyone know if there’s anything comparable at any of our ports?!

No, Grand Turk and Amber Cove are both man made ports by the Carnival corporation and they have large pools that you can use for free. Both St Thomas and San Juan do not have something similar to Mr Sanchos. They do have high end Marriott resorts that will charge 60 for a day pass and give you 20 in food and beverage credit. It's not an all inclusive like Mr Sanchos or Nachi Cocum in Cozumel.

I would suggest booking an excursion in Amber Cove. DR is a beautiful island begging to be explored. Grand Turk is an easy beach day - either walk right for having a spot in the sand all to yourself or go left down past the Carnival port to the local establishments. The beach will be less crowded.

San Juan for us has never been viewed as a beach port. It’s great to walk around old town and explore the history and forts. St. Thomas has a ton of activities - one of our favorite excursions was the Fury sailboat to snorkel with turtles.
