Magic arriving later on June 16th at 9:30am. What’s Up ?

Just got a call from the shuttle company forewarning is the Magic pulling in at 9:30am and our 10:15 pick up would be delayed about an hour at least. Anyone know what’s up with this delay ?

We got an email that said delays due to a medical demarcation but did not list any times. Following to keep an eye on any news.

Also carnival said there would be a follow up email by 6 pm today with more details. I assume eastern time because both we and the port are in eastern.

Not seeing any web cam feeds but position looks like she's off the coast of Cuba now, which would most likely be on track for arrival. If you're on board, ask some one. If you're at a hotel waiting to board tomorrow, nothing wrong with getting picked up at 11:30 is no real biggy.

Medical emergency --- the Magic had to make a stop in Cozumel and is not due into Port Canaveral until approximately 9:45 tomorrow morning.

Bring your patience if on this sailing as things will be hectic, especially because there are going to be those passengers who ignore their email to arrive later or some who say they never got one (which is quite possible) ..Even some who are flying in and might arrive to the Port early... Be nice to the Port Agents... they're also on a different schedule, having been asked to come in later and stay even later...

Saw on MarineTraffic yesterday night that there was a four hour unscheduled stop in Cozumel but was hoping they'd make up the time. (They're eventually going to need to consume the fuel to go faster, right, or they'll be four hours behind forever? I hope not at the expense of cutting into any of the port calls on our sailing.)

I have FTTF on my booking, does anyone have experience with that helping with delays or should I just refund it now through the web site if it will still let me? Bought it primarily so that the stateroom would be ready at embarkation; that seems unlikely to happen if they're hours late into port.

Got an email - no news u til 9 am and they will send out an email letting us know when to arrive to board.

Got the same text. Should be chaos with getting everyone off and on so let’s all be patient and supportive . The ship isn’t going anywhere without us
