Near Port Canaveral.

My husband will be driving from the gulf coast to pick me up at Port Canaveral. I am platinum and can do the earliest self disembarkation. I seem to remember it is very congested right at the port. Would it be easiest (especially finding each other) if I took a taxi to somewhere nearby and had him meet me there? If so, recommendations!? Thanks!

We just disembarked at Port Canaveral a couple of weeks ago with 5 ships in port. I did not find the port area to be particularly congested compared to Miami or Port Everglades.

If you are at terminal 1 then walk to the right and he can pick you in front of Grills restaurant.

Otherwise, do not bother with getting a ride somewhere. Just wait for him outside your terminal.

the best way to avoid congestion at ship departure

is to NOT try to be the first off!!!!

do the math ....... easy answer ......
