MSC Fantasia - YC question for West Med Cruise in Sept 2018

Hello - DH and myself - plus my DM and our DS (23) are cruising in side by side Yacht Club Deluxe cabins this September on our first MSC cruise, West Med ITN from Rome. It is an 8 day cruise with no sea days...all ports.

Does anyone have a guess on what nights or how many Formal Nights there will be and if the European Cruises are a little more formal?

We have only ever done Caribbean cruises we used to do the Tux and gown thing but recently it has been reduced to Shirt and Tie with me wearing a LBD. If those cruises are more formal can I pre-order a rented TUX(s) for DH and DS to have waiting on the Ship? I don't want to sacrifice the Suitcase space on international flights.

can't tell you which nights, but there will be two formal nights.

MSC don't do a formal wear hire service. The dress code tends to be more relaxed - my partner and I wear normal dark suits

You will see a wide selection of clothing on formal nights, even in the YC.

I wear a jacket, open neck shirt and no tie and feel very comfortable like that.
